Mobile Phones & Internet in Anchorage

Most major US mobile phone providers cover Anchorage either via roaming agreements, or, actual network coverage. For non-US mobile phone users, this port has a GSM phone network - it is likely that your phone would be covered by a roaming agreement. Make certain to contact your mobile network operator to ensure that you have global roaming activated on your mobile account.

The following locations offer either WiFi access, or, internet-connected PC's available for rental:

Ketchikan - Seaport Cyber (on the pier, upstairs at #216 Salmon Landing) offers Internet access $5 card good for an hour online - buy a card that works in three ports -- Ketchikan, Skagway and Juneau.
Sagway - Seaport Cyber (336 - 3rd Ave.)
Juneau - Seaport Cyber (175 S. Franklin). Sitka - The Highliner Cafe offers Internet and cordless phone services, and they also serve fresh bake
breakfast stuffed croissants and cakes (327 Seward St. -- by St. Michael's Cathedral).
