City Tour, Chinatown, and Jurong Bird Park
You'll first see stroll about in Chinatown, and experience the shops and markets, and then visit the Sri Mariamman Temple, which was built in 1827 and considered to be the city's oldest Hindu temple. At the National Orchid Garden, you'll view 1,000 species and 2,000 hybrids of this flower. It's the largest collection of orchids in the world. Next, you'll visit Jurong Bird Park, comprised of 50 acres and home to at least 9,000 birds representing 600 species. Jurong Bird Park has an awesome man made waterfall, a penguin exhibit, and the world's largest open air, walk in aviary. There will be opportunity to shop at Jurong Bird Park's Feathers Gift Ashop and the Singapore Gem Stone Factory, too!

Singapore pewter is of the finest caliber, and following a demostration, you get to make your own dish with expert guidance. At Raffles Hotel, once frequented by the famous Chaplan and Joseph Conrad, you get to make a “Singaore Sling,” and then taste one. This drink was invented at Raffles at the turn of the 20th century.

From Raffles Landing, you'll embark on a 30 minute riverboat ride with an audio of the city's history. Then, the walking tour takes you to the Fu Tak Temple with a museum displaying the history of Singapore's earliy community from China, to the Sri Mariamman Temple, and to the Chinatown Heritage Center.

Safari Breakfast at the Zoo
We've heard so many positive comments from guests who have visited Singapore's zoo that it had to be on our top 5 list. Built on the “open concept,” this zoo provides large habitat's meant to be as close to the animals' natural world as possible. You'll see the elephants bathing, and the orangutans playing. Of course, breakfast comes with the deal.
