Menus include: crostini, wild boar, hare, beans with sausage, pasta, and a classical cut of beef steak Florentine all served with a house wine. If you itinerary includes more than one day in Florence you may choose to visit the Trattoria le Cave di Maiano located in a converted farmhouse between Florence and Fiesole. Start you meal with the antipasto caldo, and then enjoy the stubby pasta in cream sauce and tomato ragu (penne stracicate) or the rice with beans and black cabbage. The official currency is the Euro. Travellers cheques are accepted almost everywhere. MasterCard, Diners Club and Visa are widely accepted, but many small establishments - shops and restaurants only accept cash.
