Buzios Restaurant Guide

While visiting Buzios, when you want to treat your tastebuds betwixt (or on) those beautiful beaches, it's good to bear in mind the fact that you are in primo resort territory, where spoiling people has practically become an art form... and guests just don't keep coming back for such pampering when the food is mediocre! -So, it's just fine to expect wonderful cuisine! Not everything has to be at gourmet prices anymore on Buzios... there are pizzerias and "fast food" options. However, if you want to get into that Buzios swing of things, we do suggest you try grouper on banana leaf, their salads, risotto, brie, seafood dishes, shrimp pastry, and Brazilian jerked beef! Buzios has an ice cream chain called Mil Frutas, and that's plenty fine, too! If you love sweets, you may also want to sample chocolate or banana pie! 

Popular Restaurants in Buzios: 
 
Satyricon, located at Orla Bardot 500, opens at 5:00 PM to offer truly exquisite Mediterranean cuisine. You'll find pastas, risottos, and pizzas on this menu as well as superb seafood. Pizzas cost R$37 on average, and mains are at about R$58. You can contact them at 022 2623 2691.
 
Fishbone Cafe boasts some dreamy views, all the better as you dine on salads, sandwiches, Italian entrees, grilled fish, and other grilled meats! Sandwiches cost around R$19, and salads range in price from R$20 to R$35. Main courses cost an average R$50. This restaurant is located at Av Gravatas 1196 Praia de Geriba, and is open from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You can contact them at 022 2623 7348.
 
Chez Michou Creperie is one of those cool places to go for affordable food and mingling! With outdoor seating, you can sit back enjoy a pina colada and some excellent crepes, which range in price from R$10 to R$22. Chez Michou is open from noon on and serves lunch and dinner. There's a DJ at night, too! This venue DOES get very crowded. They are located at Rua das Pedras 90, and you can contact them at 022 2623 6137.

The currency is the Brazilian Real. Major credit cards (Visa, Master, Amex, Diners and American Express) are widely accepted at most hotels, restaurants and stores. Visa is the most accepted. Traveler's checks are not usually accepted.
