Currently a European Co-capital of Culture, Tallinn is also the capital of Estonia and this country's largest city. Kadriorg Park, the Song Festival, the (16th century) ruins of St. Bridgette's Convents, the Olympic Yachting Complex Toompea Hill, Toompea Castle, Palace Square, the Russian Orthodox Church of Alexander Nevsky, and St. Mary's Cathedral are all among this city's highlights! Visit Rakvere Castle, circa 13th century, replete with the Tarvas Bull Statue, a watch tower, and a working canon. Tallinn is a splendid European city indeed!
