Using WiFi, Cell Phones, and Internet on the Disney Dream

The Disney Dream does provide WiFi access throughout the ship. For Internet access on your Disney Dream cruise, you may select a data plan suited to your preferences. Contact the Connect @ Sea Desk (starboard and aft of the Buena Vista Theater) for more information. Here are the Connect @ Sea Internet Data Packages available on the Disney Dream: 

• Pay As You Go: $0.25 per MB (with Pay As You Go, you choose predetermined spending limits)
• Small Package: 100 MB for $19
• Medium Package: 300 MB for $39
• Large Package: 1000 MB for $89

Concierge Class Category R guests have free internet access. Concierge Class Categories S, T, and V have free Small Packages.

You can make and receive phone calls and text messages (SMS) while on the Disney Dream.

Cell phone roaming is enabled on the Disney Dream, however, the system can be pricey as the price plans feature international roaming rates and data charges (this can be very expensive). Contact your mobile phone operator to ensure that your account is activated for international roaming and inquire as to per minute rates, per text message rates and data charges -- the costs are not cheap.

The Disney Cruise Line Navigator app can be downloaded on your smartphone. With this app, you can check menus, activities, and itineraries for your cruise, and chat with other guests on the Guest WiFi. There is not an extra fee for the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App.

There are two Wave Phones for each Disney Dream cabin. Using the Wave Phone, you can contact (call/text) a Disney Dream stateroom phone or another Wave Phone. Additional Wave Phones are available for a fee.

All the major US mobile operators as well as Rogers Wireless in Canada are available on the Disney Dream.
