Norwegian Pearl Pool, Water Slide, and Sunbathing

The Norwegian Pearl features three pools and four whirlpools. The pools are filled with saltwater, and there are freshwater showers provided so you can rinse off. The maximum pool depth is 8' in one of the main pools, which is great for swimming and sunbathing around the deck.

The main pool area, The Tahitian Pool, is located mid ship on Deck 12. The main pool is actually two pools surrounded by four whirlpools. One side is allocated for adults only. The other portion features a twisting slide. There is usually some activity going on around the Tahitian Pool -- anything from a Caribbean band to a member of the ship's staff leading an activity or game. 

The Kids' Pool is a paddling pool that has a slide. There is also a whirlpool in the same area. The kid's pool is aft and port side of the Tahitian Pool on Deck 12. Typically, this pool is open from 8 AM to 7 PM.

Norwegian Pearl Pool, Waterslide, and Sunbathing Tips:

• When arriving in the pool area, you will need to sign-out a towel. There will be a 22 USD charge per towel to your on board account for each towel you fail to return. These are sturdy towels and if you want to purchase one, you can from the order form in your room.
• Babies & Infants in Pools: Norwegian's official policy is no swim diapers, children must be potty trained. Norwegian stresses this point to all the families that bring their kids. We have not heard reports on whether or not the policy is strictly enforced.
• While Norwegian does its best to discourage this, Sunbathers do show-up at 8 AM and try to claim lounge chairs for the day.
