Disney Magic Pool, Water Slides, and Sunbathing

The Disney Magic features three heated, freshwater pools and 4 whirlpools. Each pool is designed for specified use- kids only, families, and grown-ups.

Aft of the family pool on Deck 9 of the Disney Magic, Mickey's Pool and the AquaLab are designed for the younger set. A water park and the Twist n Spout slide are in this area. Mickey's Pool has a maximum depth of two feet. While children in diapers are not permitted in the pools, the Nephews' Splash Zone is the perfect place for little ones under the age of three who aren't toilet trained but are in swim diapers!

Goofy's Pool, mid ship in Deck 9, is normally open from 8AM to 10 PM. This pool is designed for families, and has a maximum depth of four feet. Here, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. There are also two whirlpools located in this area. A 24 by 14 LED Funnel vision features Disney movies and select TV programming throughout the day. There is also a stage in this area. During parties and events, a dance floor slides over the pool for added room.

Forward on Deck 9 of the Disney Magic, the Quiet Cove Pool is designated just for adults. It has a maximum depth of 4 feet and there are two whirlpools nearby. The area also features teak deck chairs with comfy cushions. The Quiet Cove Pool is normally open from 8 AM to 12 AM.

The AquaDunk on the Disney Magic can be accessed by a walk up mid ship on Deck 10. After you are encapsulated, the floor drops, and you literally race through this tunnel ride on water!

Disney Magic Pools, Water Slides, and Sunbathing Tips

  • When arriving in the pool area, you will need to sign-out a towel. There will be a 22 USD charge per towel to your onboard account for each towel you fail to return. These are sturdy towels and if you want to purchase one, you can from the order form in your room.
  • While Disney does its best to discourage this, Sunbathers do show-up at 8 AM and attempt to claim lounge chairs for the day.
  • Adults only means age 18 an over.
  • You must be at least 48" tall to ride the AquaDunk.
