Carnival Pride Pool, Water Slides, and Sunbathing

The Carnival Pride has three salt water pools. Fresh water showers provided for rinsing off. The Apollo Pool and the Venus Pool are the main pools are aft of Spa Carnival on Lido Deck; each is 4'4" deep and have one hot tub nearby. The Venus Pool, which is aft of the Apollo Pool area, has a retractable roof and in pool loungers, and is closest to the "Dive-In" movie screen! Typically, the pool hours are from 8 AM to 10 PM.

Serenity, exclusively intended for grown ups, is located aft of the Mermaid's Grille on Lido Deck. Hammocks, loungers in the shade and in the sun, bar service, piped in music, and a lovely pool are in this area!

The Carnival Pride boasts a thrill slide called Green Thunder. This slide rises almost 100 feet off the deck and partially hangs over the ship's side! A 150-gallon "PowerDrencher" dump bucket is part of the Carnival WaterWorks interactive water park, and the Twister water slide is also featured on the Carnival Pride. Twister is 214 feet in length, two stories high, and empties out into its own separate pool. The entry to the Twister is located aft on Deck 11 (Sports Deck). The water slides typically operates from 10 AM to 5 PM, and there is a 42" minimum height requirement.

Carnival Pride Pool, Water Slides, and Sunbathing Tips:

• When arriving in the pool area, you will need to sign-out a towel. There will be a charge per towel to your on board account for each towel you fail to return.
• Babies & Infants in Pools: Carnival's official policy is "no swim diapers, children must be potty trained." We have not heard reports on whether the policy is strictly enforced.
• While Carnival does its best to discourage this, sunbathers do show-up at 8 AM and claim lounge chairs for the day.
