Carnival Ecstasy Pool, Water Slides, and Sunbathing

Mid ship on Lido Deck (Deck 10) of the Carnival Ecstasy you'll find the saltwater pool, which is 43' by 14' and has a depth of 4'6".  There are two whirlpools located in this area. Aft of the pool is a stage area where, during most hours of the day, there is some activity going on -- anything from a Caribbean band to a member of the ship's staff leading an activity or game. Typically, the Resort Style Pool hours are from 8 AM to 11PM. Sun bathing lounge chairs are available by the pool, and on Verandah Deck (Deck 11).

Aft on Verandah Deck, the Waterworks includes plenty of water spray and sprinkler fun, a kiddie slide, an 82' double lane racing slide, and a 300' spiraling Twister tube slide! Entrance to the slides is on Sports Deck (Deck 12).

The Carnival Ecstasy's adults-only Serenity area, which is aft on Deck 9 (Promenade Deck), features two whirlpool spas. Drink service is available along with comfy chaise lounges, hammocks, and sun loungers that are shaded. Typically, the Serenity area opens at 8 AM and closes at 11 PM.

Carnival Ecstasy Pool, Water Slides, and Sunbathing Tips:

• When arriving in the Carnival Ecstasy pool area, you will need to sign-out a towel. There will be a 22 USD charge per towel to your on board account for each towel you fail to return. These are sturdy towels and if you want to purchase one, you can from the order form in your room.
• Babies & Infants in Pools: Carnival's official policy is "no swim diapers, children must be potty trained." Camp Ocean stresses this point to all the families that bring their kids. We have not heard reports on whether the policy is strictly enforced.
• While Carnival does its best to discourage this, sunbathers on the Carnival Ecstasy do show-up at 8 AM and attempt to claim lounge chairs for the day.
