The Carnival Dream's Cloud 9 Spa is one of the largest spas of any cruise line, covering an expanse of 23,750 square feet. This two deck spa includes day spa fare: massages, acupuncture, body wraps, slimming treatments, facial treatments, tooth whitening, steam rooms, and water therapies.

• Make certain to book any of the Carnival Dream's salon and spa menu of services early -- they tend to fill up quickly. Also, be on the lookout for discounts offered for making appointments on the first or second day of the cruise. If you can't make it the day of the discount or if they are full, ask for an appointment at the discount rate for the following day. It doesn't hurt to ask and more often than not, they will honor the discounted price.
• Spa treatments are pricey so don't forget to watch for in-port specials.
• There will be drawings throughout the cruise for free services. Most of the time, you have to be there at the appointed time to win. It is worth showing up. This is especially true on sunny days in port where drawings may be offered before leaving port. Some people will still be off the ship and enjoying the sights. That will increase your odds of winning.
