Norwegian Sun Main Dining Rooms: The Four Seasons and The Seven Seas
Norwegian Cruise Line created Freestyle Dining -- a flexible approach to dining in the restaurant of your choice, at the time that is convenient for you. The main dining rooms, The Four Seasons and The Seven Seas, are the largest restaurants on the Norwegian Sun. You can almost always show up without a reservation and be seated right away.
The Four Seasons:
The Norwegian Sun's Four Seasons restaurant is located midship on Deck 5, the Four Seasons is the smaller main dining room. Generally, there's something for just about every appetite, and the menu boasts contemporary cooking (your lobster will be grilled). Starters include crab dip, fruit, and soups such as chilled apple bisque and beet soup. Grilled salmon, lean burgers, and fusilli pasta and barbecued pork are among main entrees featured on the lunch menu, and for dinner expect beef, fish, poultry, and vegetarian selections. For dessert, the Four Seasons dining room on Norwegian Sun serves pies, berries served in Grand Marnier sauce, fruit, and ice cream among your choices
The Seven Seas:
The Seven Seas restaurant on the Norwegian Sun is located aft on Deck 5. The Seven Seas boasts traditional entree preparation (your lobster will be steamed). For dinner in either main dining room, look for six main entrees which remain constant, and three nightly specials which vary. Greek salads, baked shrimp, and French Onion Soup exemplify starters, and traditional main entree favorites include Grilled New York Strip Steak, baked chicken breast, and roasted salmon. Vegetarian Lasagna and Chicken Piccata with Gnocchi are among entrees for more adventuresome palates. Desserts in the Seven Seas dining room on Norwegian Sun include sherbet, cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and pies.
