The Provence and the Bordeaux Main Dining Rooms on the Coral Princess:

Forward on Fiesta Deck, the Provence Dining Room on Coral Princess provides traditional reservations only dining. In the Provence, Princess maintains the tradition of assuring you the same server throughout your cruise! Early dinner is at 5:30 PM, and late dinner is at 7:45 PM.

Personal Choice or Anytime Dining (where you are not bound to dining at a set time) is featured in  the Bordeaux Dining Room on Coral Princess which is located on the Plaza Deck. The Bordeaux Dining Room on Coral Princess is also open during the day for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast hours are from 7:30 to 9:30 AM, and supper hours are from 5:30 to 10:00 PM.

Cuisine in Main Dining Rooms of Coral Princess

Dinner menus in the Provence and the Bordeaux dining rooms are identical and vary daily. Lobster and Seafood Pate, veggie spring rolls, and melon are among appetizers. Soups and salads include Tortellini and Spinach Soup, Porcini Mushroom Soup, Watercress, and Caesar Salad. Veal Ravioli in Creamy Porcini Sauce,  Surf & Turf, Prime Rib, Lobster and Prawns, Moroccan Vegetable Ragout, and Tiger Shrimp exemplify main entrees. Desserts on the dinner menus include fresh fruit, Bananas Foster Flambe, ice cream, chocolate cake, and cheeses. There are also selections for vegetarians and for the health conscious. Lunch entrees include a couple of late breakfast items, as well as appetizers such as turkey breast on a bed of greens, mussels, vegetable soup, and basic salads with home-made dressing choices. Burgers and fries, pasta, Philly Steak Sandwiches, and veggie burritos represent main entree choices.

Tips for the main dining rooms on Coral Princess:

• In the Bordeaux, breakfast is served from 7:30am to 9:30am, and lunch is from noon to 2:00pm with no reservations required. For reservations only dining in the Provence,  early dinner time is 5:30 PM, and late dinner time is 7:45 PM. Unless you have opted for Anytime Dining, you will need reservations for dinner.
• These can be made after booking your cruise by contacting Princess at www.princess.com or call 800-774-6237. Contact Princess for any changes you wish to make no later than 3 weeks before sailing, but keep in mind that changes must be honored on a first come, first serve basis. After changes have been requested and when you are aboard ship, confirm with your Maitre D' within your first 24 hours, and staff will as much as possible try to accommodate you.
• For special dietary concerns, Princess needs your requests in writing no later than 6 weeks before you sail, and these requests need to be confirmed once you're aboard with the Maitre D' within 24 hours. Go to the Cruise Personalizer on the Princess website to specify dietary preferences.
• Bare feet, jeans, shorts, tank tops, and swim wear are not permitted. For gentlemen, smart casual such as slacks and polo style shirts are more appropriate at dinner time. For formal nights, you'll be most comfortable in elegant attire.
• Meals are no cost, but special beverages, wines, beer, and soft drinks may be purchased via current bar menu.
• When ordering steaks and other meats, specify your grilling preference.

Princess Cruises Personal Choice Dining on the Coral Princess

Personal Choice Dining is available in the Bordeaux Dining Room from 5:30pm to 10:00pm for dinner. After booking, specify your selection for Personal Dining or traditional evening reservations. Once aboard, you may opt to call in your reservations for Personal Choice Dining in the morning, or just show up. Expect a wait time of 5 to 15 minutes. You will experience less wait time if you show up earlier than 5:30 PM. On formal nights, and in the evenings after 8:00 PM, your wait time will likely be longer. You will receive a beeper and approximate wait time from staff when you arrive for dinner. Dress codes for the main dining room apply.
