Truffles Restaurant

CCL_Food_shrimpTruffles Restaurant on the Carnival Legend, located aft on Promenade Deck, is a two tiered main dining room that combines mahogany and lighting in Art Deco themes to bring you a dining atmosphere reminiscent of the 1930's.

Chicken, seafood, and beef entrees, as well as international features are available at Truffles Restaurant. The varying menu selections also include low carb, low fat, low sodium Carnival Spa choices. Appetizers such as Black Tiger Shrimp Cocktail, Cured Salmon, soups and salads, and a selection of desserts in addition to ice cream and sherbet are also on your menu. Truffles is located aft on Carnival Legend's Promenade Deck.

With Seuss at Sea, look forward to Flapjacks and Fruit, Goose Juice, Moose Juice- all on the menu for you to choose. -And yes, Sam-I-Am, you'll find Green Eggs and Ham!

Breakfast is served from 7:45am to 9:00am. Lunch is from noon to 1:30pm. Early dinner time seating ranges from 5:45pm to 6:15pm, and late dinner seating time is from 8:00pm to 8:30pm.

Tips for the main dining room onboard Carnival Legend - Truffles Restaurant

  • Breakfast is served from 7:45am to 9:00am. Lunch is from noon to 1:30pm.
  • Early dinner time seating ranges from 5:45pm to 6:15pm, and late dinner time seating is from 8:00pm to 8:30pm.
  • Reservations for dinner are anticipated.
  • For breakfast and lunch, casual clothing is OK, but no swim wear is permitted.
  • Appropriate attire is a must for dinner.
  • Meals are no cost, but special beverages, wines, beer, and soft drinks may be purchased via current bar menu.
  • When ordering steaks, make sure you state your preferences as the kitchen staff tend to over-cook meat.
  • While the main dining room of the Carnival Legend offers meals with good reviews, The Golden Fleece Supper Club is considered to be the dining highlight of the cruise and we highly suggest you plan at least one evening to include this experience.

Wait time is usually 20 minutes, and parties of ten plus may be accommodated at different tables. When you are booking your cruise, you'll have the option to reserve Early Dining, Late Dining, or Your Choice Dining. When reservations are made determines who gets what, so timeliness is very important. Should your desired Early dining or Late dining time be filled, you can always opt for a second dining time or Your Choice dining.
