Eurodam Main Dining Room

The Rembrandt Dining Room

Holland_food_steakThe main dining room aboard the Eurodam provides you ample sea vistas! The Rembrandt is a two tiered restaurant and the dining room entry is located on the Eurodam's Lower Promenade Deck.

Breakfast is served in the main dining room from 7:00am to 10:00am, and, lunch is served from noon to 2:30pm. Breakfast and lunch are open-seating. For dinner, the early dinner time is 5:45pm and 6:15pm, and, the main dinner time is 7:45pm and 8:15pm.

Holland America Line does offer As You Wish Dining where you can show-up at any during the dinner hours and be seated as a table comes available. However, it is advised that you inform the Maître D' of your preferred dining time prior to 4 PM. You can choose As You Wish Dining when you book your cruise. Once on the ship, any guest is welcome to ask the Maître D' for a preferred dining time and they will do their best to accomodate your request.

Cuisine in the Eurodam's Main Dining Room

Your menu includes vegetarian selections, four appetizers, and over seven main entrees including pastas, salads, beef, chicken, and occasional lamb or lobster. Desserts, by most accounts tempting, vary daily. Chef recommended fare and New Holland's Greenhouse Spa Cuisine are highlighted on the menu. The Rembrandt's wine list is middle of the road, but reasonable in cost and quality.

Tips for the Eurodam's main dining room:

  • Breakfast is served from 7:00am to 10:00am.
  • Lunch is from noon to 2:30pm.

  • Reservations for dinner are anticipated.
  • For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, casual clothing is OK, but no sweatpants, swim wear or shorts.
  • You'll be most comfortable in elegant attire for formal evenings.
  • Meals are no cost, but special beverages, wines, beer, and soft drinks may be purchased via current bar menu.
  • When ordering steaks and other meats, specify your grilling preference.
  • While the main dining room of the Holland America Eurodam offers meals with good reviews, The Pinnacle Grill is dining at its finest and we highly suggest you plan at least one evening to include this experience.

As You Wish Dining onboard Holland America Line:

Throughout your Holland America Eurodam cruise, you'll be able to savor cuisine as you wish on your time! From 5:15pm to 9:00pm, the main dining room provides first come, first serve seating on the first floor of the Rembrandt. There may be a wait time before seating. When you are booking your cruise, you'll have the option to reserve Early Dining, Main Dining, or As You Wish Dining. Once aboard, you can make reservations for the Rembrandt until 4:00pm.
