Lido Buffet onboard the Dawn Princess

Horizon Court:

Horizon Court on the Dawn Princess is the lido buffet restaurant. Some main dining room selections are available in this casual venue in which no reservations are required. This buffet has an expansive hot breakfast beginning at 6:30am, and for lunch and dinner there's a carving station, a variety of salads, and hot entree selections. Wine, beer, soft drinks, and specialty drinks are at current menu prices, but food is at no extra charge. Continental breakfast is from 5:00am to 6:00am, and the full breakfast buffet is available from 6:00am to 11:30am. Lunch is offered from 11:30am to 3:30pm. From 3:30pm to 5:30pm, snacks are offered. Dinner in the Horizon Court on the Dawn Princess occurs from 5:30pm to midnight.

La Scala Pizzeria:

On the top level of the atrium, you'll find La Scala Pizzeria on the Dawn Princess. This 'sit down' pizza place with flagstone floors and wrought iron work features a menu including basic pizzas, but also features build your own and cheese free focaccia concoctions. Pizza on the Princess cruise ships is generally good to great, but not everyone is thrilled with the restaurant (vs poolside) atmosphere. There's no charge for food, but specialty drinks, soft drinks, beer, and wine are at current menu prices. Casual attire is fine.

The Balcony Grill:

On Lido Deck from 11:00am until midnight, the Balcony Grill on the Dawn Princess serves hamburgers, hot dogs, and sides. There's no charge for food, but specialty drinks, soft drinks, beer, and wine are at current menu prices.

Tips for Horizon Court:

• The Horizon Court buffet receives good to great guest reviews!
• However, Horizon Court can become quite busy during peak hours (breakfast and lunch), and we suggest the main dining room if more serene surroundings appeal to you.
• Because the forward part of Horizon Court transforms into the Sterling Steakhouse from 5:30pm to 10:00pm, you may expect crowds in the evenings.
• Casual attire is suggested, but bathing suits and bare feet are no permitted.
• Wine, beer, soft drinks, and specialty drinks are at current menu prices, but food is at no extra charge.
• In between these times, the Horizon is open for snacks and lighter fare.
