Lido Buffet onboard the Amsterdam
Lido Restaurant:
For casual indoor and outdoor dining, The Lido Restaurant onboard the Amsterdam is the main option. This casual eatery boasts an Asian stir fry, sushi, pasta, pizza, gourmet sandwiches, and a salad bar. Dine indoors or out from 6:30am to 11:00am (6:00am to 11:00am at port) for breakfast, and from 11:30am to 2:00pm for lunch. The deli and salad bar are open until 5:00pm. Caesar salads at the Lido get great reviews!
Terrace Grill:
Open for lunch only, the Amsterdam's Terrace Grill, also on Lido Deck, serves pizza, nachos, sandwiches, gourmet sausages, and grilled burgers and hot dogs. Check for open hours once aboard as these do vary based upon cruise itinerary.
The Java Cafe:
On Promenade Deck, sweets, snacks, and coffees can be purchased at the Java Cafe onboard the Amsterdam. There are no extra fees for a good cappuccino or espresso. Casual dress is OK, and we suggest you check onboard for hours open.
Tips for all Amsterdam Lido Restaurants:
-
The Lido Restaurant and Terrace Grill do not require reservations and are casual dining alternatives to the main dining room.
-
Finding a table is usually not a concern, but lines for cook-to-order can be long.
-
If you want to get away from the crowds and lines during breakfast and lunch, the La Fontaine is a better choice.
-
There is no cost for food. Specialty drinks, wines, beer, and soft drinks are available for purchase from the current bar menu.
