The Lido Buffet on the Carnival Valor
Rosie's Restaurant:
For casual indoor and outdoor dining, Rosie's Restaurant on the Carnival Valor is very popular. Located on Lido Deck, this restaurant has a grand buffet with carving stations, and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rosie's Restaurant is crowded during breakfast and lunch, and offers quick meal alternatives to include salads, burgers, and your choice of Asian grill selections. While Rosie's is open from 7:00am to midnight, it does include a 24 hour pizzeria and deli sandwich board. Breakfast and lunch are self service, but after 6:00pm service at your table begins. The dinner menu includes salads, pasta, chicken, shrimp, and steaks. There's no cost for food, but soft drinks, specialty drinks, wine, and beer are available for purchase from the current bar menu.
The Fish and Chips Station:
If you love seafood, located second level from Rosie's, you'll find fish and chips in cider batter, fried Blue Point oysters, calamari and Maui onion fritters, tiger shrimp, cold appetizers, and salads among other favorites. This station is highly recommended in reviews, with bouilabaisse prepared fresh for you, and we strongly suggested you try this within the first two days aboard to avoid the inevitable lines which do occur when word catches on. There's no cost for food, but soft drinks, specialty drinks, wine, and beer are available for purchase from the current bar menu.
Mongolian Wok Station:
Located aft on Lido Deck (Deck 9), this is a popular station in Rosie's! You choose the veggies, meats (including seafood), and noodles, and the chef combines these into a delicious entree! There are three sauce choices- hot Szechwan, a medium Thai barbecue, and a mild black bean. Enjoy!
Sushi at Sea:
Sushi and sashimi pieces, as well as spicy tuna rolls and California rolls are among the treats at this station located aft in Rosie's. Tempura and bang bang bonsai are also on the menu. Prices are a la carte, ranging from 1.50 USD for pieces of sushi and sashimi to 7.50 USD for tempura.
