Dress Code on the Carnival Paradise

During the day on the Carnival Paradise, casual attire is appropriate, including, shorts, sundresses, tank tops, etc. for the ladies; for men, shorts, polo shirts, T-shirts, etc. will do. Rubber-soled, low heeled, or flat shoes are recommended while aboard. The use of any footwear with wheels, including but not limited to Heelys' shoes, is prohibited on all Carnival ships. For the Carnival dining dress code in the evening, you may want to dress up a bit and/or bring along a light sports jacket or cardigan.

On Carnival's Cruise Elegant nights, which are formal nights, the dress code includes dress slacks and shirts for men. Suits, tuxedos, and sports coats are suggested, but not required. Pantsuits, cocktail dresses, and dressy skirts and blouses are included as elegant attire for women; evening gowns are suggested but not required. Jeans, shorts, tee shirts, bathing suits, sportswear to include baseball hats, shorts, and shirts, sleeveless shirts for men, and flip-flops are not permitted on Cruise Elegant nights.

Carnival Paradise Dress Code Tip:

• For those who want casual attire for dinner time on the "Cruise Elegant" (formal night) evenings, the Lido Restaurant is open nightly, and has a more relaxed theme. Shirts and shoes/footwear (flip-flops) must be worn at all times inside the Lido Restaurant.
• On two to five day cruises, one Cruise Elegant night is scheduled.
• On cruises that are six days in duration or longer, two Cruise Elegant evenings are scheduled.
