Oasis of the Seas Children's / Kids' Programs & Babysitting

The Oasis of the Seas has a kids' programs to entertain the younger cruisers. Youth groups are divided based on age. There are five age groups, and each has its own area and activities.

• The Aquanauts- ages 3 to 5
• Explorers- ages 6 to 8
• Voyagers- ages 9 to 11
• Navigators- ages 12 to 14
• Teens- ages 15 to 17

Royal Caribbean Programs for Children Under Age 3

Supervised programs on Royal Caribbean are not available for little ones who  are not potty trained or who are younger than 3. However, in partnership with Fisher-Price, there are special programs for Royal Babies that are 6 to 18 months old and Royal Tots for kids 18 to 36 months old. These programs are scheduled for parents and their little ones together throughout the cruise. The dedicated nursery does provide trained staff and age appropriate activities for 6 to 36 month old babies. This nursery, located forward on Deck 14, costs 6 USD per hour during the day, and 8 USD per hour nightly. 

Activities for Children

Adventure Ocean participants can see movies in the Adventure Ocean Theater. They have The Hangout, which houses interactive table games and gaming consoles, and a nice sized open space for physical games. In The Workshop, Adventure Ocean kids participate in activities centered on science, art, and technology. Adventure Ocean is also forward on Deck 14.

Activities for Teens

Aft on Deck 15, Social 298 is just for teens. Activities are provided for adolescents 12 to 14, and for teen 15 to 17. Karaoke, movies, trivia, board games, and themed parties are typically scheduled.

Babysitting on the Oasis of the Seas

Babysitting is available on the Oasis of the Seas as a group or in-stateroom if personnel are available. Babysitting runs $10.00 per hour for one or two children in the same family and $15.00 per hour for three little ones.

Oasis of the Seas Children's / Kids' Programs Tips:

• The daily activities for the various kids' programs are delivered to cabins every evening. They are also handed out by their respective Directors.
• The Oasis of the Seas has a curfew. Youth 17 and under must be in their cabins by 1:00 AM unless they are supervised by adults or they are in an organized activity.
• Generally, babysitting runs $10.00/hour for one or two children in the same family and $15.00/hour for three kids. The minimum age is twelve months. Rates are subject to change, and babysitting arrangements also depend upon staff availability.
• All Royal Caribbean ships have certification for being Autism Friendly, so there are games, movies, and activities for use in cabins as well as in youth activities!
