Disney Wonder Children's / Kids' Programs & Babysitting

An extension of the Magical World of Disney, the Disney Wonder features an extensive array of kids' programs for all ages. The youth groups are divided based on age ranges. On Deck 5, It's a Small World Nursery is for babies 3 months to 3 years. The nursery consists of two rooms, one with cribs and one with walkers, toys and DVD players. It's a Small World Nursery is available at an extra charge of 9 USD for the first child and 8 USD for the second youngster.

The Oceaneer Club and The Oceaneer Lab, mid ship on Deck 5, cater to 3-10 year old crowd. At the Oceaneer Club, there is:

  •  Andy's Room- is a two story high area with larger than life Toy Story characters. Mr. Potato Head, the Slinky Dog Slide, and Andy's bed are in this area.
  • Wandering Oaken's Trading Post- is found only on the Disney Wonder. Inspired by Frozen, snow and Norwegian themes are very much in evidence, and scavenger hunts for the little ones may include trolls!
  • Marvel's Avenger Academy- In the S.H.I.E.L.D. Command Post, youngsters have a virtual game in which they work with Avengers to prepare for missions!
  • Club Disney Junior- Here, children enjoy crafts and interact with characters such as Doc McStuffins, Captain Jake, and Princess Sofia.

The Oceaneer Lab has a computer lab, science lab, a large plasma screen for Disney movies, and a reading and lounging area.

At Edge (Deck 9), the tweenie crowd ages 11-13 can enjoy computer lab, video games, arts and crafts and simulator with two captain's chairs to navigate to ports of call. Mid ship on Deck 11 is Vibe, which is design for teen activities (ages 14-17). DVD players, televisions, computers, and oversized chairs plus a dance floor and soda bar round out the area. Age appropriate planned activities are provided throughout the cruise.

For those young adults who are 18 to 20, the 1820 Society provides organized get-togethers- such as brunches and meeting for smoothies- just for you.

Disney Wonder Children's Programs Tips:

  • The only place that charges for children is the It's a Small World Nursery.
  • The Personal Navigator kids' version is handed out by their respective directors.
  • Sign up for all groups is the first night. The Teen group can come and go as they please. It's a good idea to set up a meeting point or a buddy system after an activity is over. Directors for this group will escort as needed.
  • The Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are open from nine in the morning until midnight.
