Celebrity Eclipse Children's / Teens' Programs & Babysitting

Celebrity Cruises, in collaboration with Budsies, Lonely Planet, Xbox, Anturus, and Fat Brain Toys, has developed Camp at Sea! Four categories and over five hundred activities define Camp at Sea. Tailored to the interests and age-appropriateness of each age range, these four categories are:

• S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)- Yes, learning can be fun. Through S.T.E.M., youth actively engage in scientific experiments and demonstrations!
• Recreation- Activities and games in this category focus on team building, personal achievement, and just plain fun!
• Culinary- From concocting cupcakes to pizzas, to visiting the Celebrity Eclipse's galley, children and teens have those memorable opportunities to learn life skills and enjoy every minute of these experiences!
• Art- Using a variety of art media, kids create their own souvenirs and enjoy self-expression!

There are five age groups:

• Toddler Time- children under 3
• Shipmates- ages 3 to 5,
• Cadets- ages 6 to 8,
• Ensigns- ages 9 to 11,
• X Club- ages 12 to 17.

For little ones under three who are not potty trained, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the Fun Factory.

Teens have the X Club, which is located on Deck 15. Teen activities include the Pool Olympics, karaoke and Play stations to name just a few. The children's program is located in the Fun Factory, also on Deck 15.

Please Note: Celebrity Cruises has also developed Autism friendly activities in the Fun Factory, and youth staff are trained regarding Autism awareness and Developmental Disabilities. 

Babysitting on the Celebrity Eclipse

Babysitting on the Celebrity Eclipse is offered as a group or (if personnel are available) in-stateroom.

The overview provides details on what to expect with Celebrity Cruises children's program, costs, late night babysitting services, and slumber parties. You can even make childcare arrangements when the Celebrity Eclipse is in port -- this gives parents the flexibility to explore the port without their kids.

Celebrity Eclipse Children's / Kids' Programs & Babysitting Tips:

• The daily activities for the various kids' programs are delivered to cabins every evening. They are also handed out by their respective Directors.
• During peak sailings, the older kids may be grouped into 12-14 and 15-17 age groups with different activities.
• The Celebrity Youth Program will take kids under three, but if they are not potty trained, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the Fun Factory. There are exceptions to the Fun Factory toilet training policies for youth with Autism or Developmental Disabilities; we suggest that you contact Celebrity Cruises in advance of your cruise to make arrangements.
• Groups based on age may change if the number of participants are low on a given cruise.
