Liberty of the Seas Children's / Kids' Programs & Babysitting

The Liberty of the Seas has kids' programs to entertain the younger cruisers. Youth groups are divided based on age. There are five age groups, and each has its own area and activities.

• The Aquanauts is for ages 3 to 5,
• Explorers are ages 6 to 8,
• Voyagers covers ages 9 to 11,
• Navigators for ages 12 to 14
• Teens are covered in ages 15 to 17.

All of the programs for youth and teens are aft on Deck 12 of the Liberty of the Seas.

Navigators and older kids have parties at Fuel, the teen only club. They also have The Livingroom, which is a lounge area.

Royal Caribbean Programs for Children Under Age 3

Supervised programs on Royal Caribbean are not available for kids that are not potty trained or who are younger than 3. However, in partnership with Fisher-Price, there are special programs for Royal Babies that are 6 to 18 months old and Royal Tots for kids 18 to 36 months old. These programs are scheduled for parents and their little ones together throughout the cruise.

Babysitting on the Liberty of the Seas

Babysitting is available on the Liberty of the Seas as a group or in-stateroom if personnel are available. Babysitting runs $10.00 per hour for one or two children in the same family and $15.00 per hour for three kids.

Liberty of the Seas Children's / Kids' Programs Tips:

• The daily activities for the various kids' programs are delivered to cabins every evening. They are also handed out by their respective Directors.
• The Liberty of the Seas has a curfew. Youth 17 and under must be in their cabins by 1:00 AM unless they are supervised by adults or they are in an organized activity.
• Generally, babysitting runs $10.00/hour for one or two children in the same family and $15.00/hour for three kids. The minimum age is twelve months. Rates are subject to change, and babysitting arrangements also depend upon staff availability.
• All Royal Caribbean ships have certification for being Autism Friendly, so there are games, movies, and activities for use in cabins as well as in youth activities!
