Deck-by-Deck Breakdown of the Best and Worst Cabins on the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas
Deck 2
All of the cabins on the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas Deck 2 have cabins above them that buffer noise from public areas. Beneath this deck, however, are the ship's engines and propeller system.
-
Ocean View Staterooms 2008- 2014 port side and 2508- 2514 starboard each have two portholes instead of a picture window.
-
In the cabins in the forward section of Deck 2, noise from the ocean during rough seas could be of concern. This could affect Ocean View Staterooms 2008- 2034 port side, 2508- 2514 starboard and Interior Staterooms 2009, 2011, 2511, 2015- 2525, 2013, 2515- 2523, and 2029- 2529.
-
Interior Staterooms 2035 and 2535 are right next to elevators, so noise could be an issue in these staterooms when the lifts are busy.
-
Interior Staterooms 2119 and 2123 are roomier than standard and are wheelchair accessible.
-
Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas exterior and interior cabins 2132- 2154 and 2632- 2654 are in the aft section of Deck 2 of the Enchantment of the Seas, where propeller vibration could be problematic.

Deck 3
***CruiseAdvice.org Favorite Deck ***
the forward to mid ship accommodations are highly rated by our cruise experts!
Deck 3 on the Enchantment of the Seas can be a good choice for an Ocean View Stateroom if you are in the forward section of ship. There are cabins above in the forward and mid ship section of this deck, where accommodations are going to be more quiet. However, the main dining room is located aft on Deck 4, so cabins in the aft area of Deck 3 may hear noises when the main dining room is serving, as well as before and after hours when staff are involved in preparation and cleaning.
-
More quiet accommodations on Deck 3 of the Enchantment of the Seas are Ocean View Staterooms 3000- 3090 port side and 3500-3590 starboard, and Interior Staterooms 3001, 3501, 3005- 3013, 3503, 3505- 3513, 3019- 3531, 3031- 3531, 3035, 3535, 3039- 3067, 3745- 3765, 3535- 3567, 3075- 3575, 3077- 3091, 3877- 3881, and 3577- 3591. This is because decks immediately above and beneath have cabins in these areas.
-
Forward, Ocean View Staterooms 3000- 3014 port side and 3500- 3514 starboard each have two potholes rather than a picture window.
-
In staterooms in the forward section of Deck 3 on the Enchantment of the Seas, there could be more noise during rough seas.
-
Ocean View Staterooms 3618 and 3622 as well as inside cabins 3119 and 3123 are larger than the others in their respective categories, and are all wheelchair accessible.
-
Interior cabins 3035 and 3535 are right next to elevators, so noise could be a concern in these cabins when the lifts are busy.
-
Cabins likely to be affected by main dining room noise Deck 3 of the Enchantment of the Seas are 3150-3174, and 3655-3675. In this area, interior cabins 3655-3675 are most directly under the restaurant. Most supper guests usually exit by 10:30pm, but there could still be noise from staff cleaning overhead as late as 11:30pm. Since most people don't return to their cabins until after 11:00pm, hearing noises (such as from vacuum cleaners) shouldn't be much of a concern. Breakfast is served from 7:30-9:30pm, so you might hear noise above from as early as 6:30am to 10:30am because staff are probably up there a good hour before and after dining hours for preparation and clean up. However, this shouldn't be a major early morning noise issue because many people go to Lido restaurants for breakfast. If you are light sleeper, you may prefer to find a cabin elsewhere on this deck, bring earplugs, or invest in a wave machine (a sound device available at a specialty retailer like Brookstone -- produces pleasant sounds that can wipe out the unpleasant sounds).
-
Cabin 3511, according to past guest reviews, is the antithesis of roomy. Also, viewing TV from the bed in this cabin is severely hindered by a pole or post.

Deck 4
***CruiseAdvice.org***
Warning: Several cabins on this deck may have potential problems.
Along this entire deck, please be aware that a main drag of the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas runs above your cabin.
-
We are not suggesting this deck be avoided at all costs, but some of the worst cabins aboard the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas are on Deck 4 because of the after hours noise from casino and lounge areas above. If you are light sleeper, you may prefer to find a cabin elsewhere on the ship, bring earplugs, or invest in a wave machine (a sound device available at a specialty retailer like Brookstone -- produces pleasant sounds that can wipe out the unpleasant sounds).
-
Forward, Ocean View Staterooms and Interior Staterooms 4000- 4035 and 4500- 4535 are under the theater. Not only might there be noise during performances, but before and after as well because staff will be up there either preparing for a performance or cleaning up after one.
-
Interior Staterooms 4035 and 4535 are next to elevators. Noise could be an issue in either cabin when the lifts are busy.
-
Interior Staterooms 4043, 4745, 4545, and 4543 are beneath public bathrooms. Noise -such as hearing water rush through pipes- could present a noise factor in any of these cabins.
-
The rest of the cabins on Deck 4 of the Enchantment of the Seas are under the casino. Noise until very late at night could be a resulting concern.
-
Ocean View Staterooms 4574, 4578, and 4582 and Interior Staterooms 4077 and 4081 are larger than standard and are wheelchair accessible.

Deck 7
***CruiseAdvice.org***
Warning: Some cabins on this deck may have potential problems.
Along this entire deck, you should be aware that a main drag of the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas runs beneath your cabin. However, with the exception of four ocean view cabins, all of the exterior staterooms have balconies, and it is possible to find a spacious and relatively quiet cabin on this deck with some careful thought.
-
Cabins directly above the theater are 7006- 7034 port side and 7515-7534 starboard, and Interior Staterooms 7007- 7027 and 7515- 7527. In this area, it may be possible to hear noise during rehearsals and performances, as well from the prep and clean up that occurs before and after the show.
-
On the Enchantment of the Seas Deck 7, Balcony Staterooms 7036- 7136 port side, and 7536- 7618 starboard are more quiet because the venues beneath are not sources of noise.
-
Superior Ocean View Staterooms 7118, 7122, 7618, and 7622 are more spacious, have larger balconies, and are wheelchair accessible.
-
On Deck 7 of the Enchantment of the Seas, interior cabins are less cramped together than those on lower cabin decks.
-
Aft, eight Junior Suites (7166- 7666) are the most luxurious accommodations on this deck. These are all more spacious, have larger balconies, and command the best (and least breezy) ocean view.
-
Staterooms including spacious accommodations aft on Deck 7 of the Enchantment of the Seas (7135- 7172 and 7636- 7672) are just above the aft lounge area, and this could generate some after hours noise. Again, if you are light sleeper , booking a cabin elsewhere on the ship, bringing earplugs, or investing in a wave machine are all worth considering.

Deck 8
***CruiseAdvice.org***
Warning: Several cabins on this deck may have potential problems.
While Deck 8 is where the penthouse or Royal Suite, the Owner's suites, and Grand Suites are located, this deck happens to be beneath Lido Deck. Noise from the Windjammer Cafe, the pools, and the aft located spa/fitness area on Deck 9 could be an issue in many of these accommodations!
-
Exterior accommodations 8012- 8052 port side and 8514- 8552 starboard, and Interior Staterooms 8015, 8039, 8539, 8047- 8055, 8045- 8053, 8545- 8553, and 8547- 8555 are beneath the Windjammer Cafe. This popular dining venues opens early and closes late, so noise could be an issue in any of these staterooms and suites.
-
Forward on Deck 8 of the Enchantment of the Seas, Interior Stateroom 8015 is quite spacious and right across from the penthouse or Royal Suite. The family cabins are in short supply and are very popular given their attractive sleeping arrangements. They sell out very quickly, so it is best to book early to get a family cabin. Additionally, you will likely not to be permitted to reserve a family cabin unless you have a certain number of people you are booking into that cabin.
-
Port side, Family Ocean View Stateroom 8012 offers 233 sq. ft.
-
Starboard, 8514 is the Royal Suite, which is the largest and most luxurious cabin on the Enchantment of the Seas. 8514 has 1087 sq. ft. with a 161 sq. ft, balcony.
-
On Deck 8 of the Enchantment of the Seas, all staterooms aft of and including 8056 port side and 8556 starboard are under the pool areas or the spa and fitness center. Noise from these areas on Deck 9 could be a concern from early in the morning until late at night.
-
Junior Suites 8108 and 8608 are larger than usual, have bigger balconies, and are wheelchair accessible.
-
Royal Family Suites 8166 and 8666 are aft on Deck 8. These two suites have bountiful balcony space and have incredible views of the ocean. Again, these family accommodations sell out very quickly, so we suggest you book one as early as possible. There will most likely be a minimum number of people required to reserve one of these suites.
-
Also aft, Junior Suites 8170, 8172, 8672, and 8670 have larger than standard balconies affording highly sought after (and less breezy) ocean views.
