Celebrity Solstice Best & Worst Staterooms: Summary
The best cabins on the Celebrity Solstice are on Decks 7, 8, 9, and 10.
Cabins to be wary of on the Celebrity Solstice are on Decks 3, 6, 11, and 12.

Deck-by-Deck Breakdown of the Best and Worst Cabins on the Celebrity Solstice

Deck 3 -- Plaza Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Warning ***
Many cabins on this deck with potential problems.

Several cabins on Deck 3 of the Celebrity Solstice are under Deck 4 venues that include a night club and a casino. For the most part, we do not recommend many of these staterooms for those who desire quiet accommodations late at night.

  • Ocean View Staterooms 3101, 3103, 3102, and 3104 are larger than average and are wheelchair accessible. Guest reviews of 3101, however, do indicate noise issues. It should be noted that 3101 and 3103 are beneath public bathrooms aft and port side of the Celebrity Solstice Theater. Noise, such as water in the pipes when these bathrooms are busy, could be problematic.
  • Port side, 3105- 3125 are beneath Quasar. Noise from this night club could be an issue late at night.
  • Starboard, 3108- 3128 are beneath the Celebrity Central. Because this venue offers late night entertainment, the staterooms are not recommended for light sleepers.
  • On the Celebrity Solstice Deck 3, starboard exterior cabins 3130-3174 and interior cabins 3144-3172 are most directly under the casino, and after hours noise could be a concern. If you are light sleeper, we recommend a cabin on a higher deck.
  • Starboard exterior staterooms 3131-3159 are probably the only cabins on Plaza Deck of the Celebrity Solstice that will not have extraneous noise factors.
  • Some of the worst cabins on the Celebrity Solstice are on Plaza Deck. While we are not suggesting the cabins on this deck should be completely avoided, there are staterooms on other decks that will be more quiet.

Deck 6 -- Continental Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Warning ***
Some cabins on this deck with potential problems.

Along this entire deck, be aware that the Entertainment Deck of the Celebrity Solstice is right beneath the cabins. That said, it should also be noted that most of the venues, such as the boutiques, art gallery, the bistro and other restaurants, are not open into the wee hours. -So, it is possible to find a little peace and quiet.

  • Port side, 6107- 6139 and starboard cabins 6108- 6140 are over the Celebrity Solstice Theater. Noise during rehearsals and performances could be an issue in these staterooms.
  • Port side, 6179- 6209 are over the Molecular Bar. Consequently, noise late into the evening could be an issue in these staterooms.
  • Starboard, 6248- 6282 are over the Ensemble Lounge. Noise could be problematic in these staterooms until late into the evening.
  • All 2C and 2D Veranda Staterooms on the Continental Deck have partially obstructed views.
  • Deluxe Veranda Staterooms 6135, 6137, 6139, and 6141 are a bit larger and are wheelchair accessible on Deck 6 of the Celebrity Solstice.
  • Aft, the largest accommodations on the Celebrity Solstice Continental Deck are Sky Suites 6305 and 6304. These suites have 300 sq. ft. of interior space and 79 sq. ft. verandas. Both suites also are wonderfully situated for magnificent views of the ocean!
  • We also recommend Sunset Veranda Staterooms 6307-6306 which are situated between the Sky Suites aft on Deck 6 of the Celebrity Solstice. These will also have great (and less breezy) ocean views from verandas that are larger than standard.

Deck 7 -- Sunrise Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Favorite Deck ***
Highly rated by our cruise experts!

In keeping with ocean liner tradition, higher deck numbers boast higher quality cabins. This begins to happen on Sunrise Deck of the Celebrity Solstice. Deck 7 introduces Family Ocean View Staterooms, and has the Sky Suites and Sunset Veranda Staterooms as well. Also, cabins above and beneath this deck provide a buffer from the noises public areas can generate, thus making this one of the more quiet locations for staterooms.

  • Forward, Family Staterooms 7107 and 7108 boast up to 575 sq. ft. of interior space and have 53 sq. ft. verandas. However, given their forward location on Deck 7 of the Celebrity Solstice, be prepared for a rather windy view (unless there's a tailwind). Family cabins are in in short-supply and are very popular given their attractive sleeping arrangements. They sell out very quickly, so, it is best to book early to get a Family cabin.
  • Veranda Staterooms 7139, 7141, 7143, and 7145 are larger than usual and are wheelchair accessible.
  • Port side veranda staterooms 7159, 7161, 7211, 7215, 7217, 7219, 7241, 7243, 7245, and 7247, and starboard veranda staterooms 7206, 7208, 7258, 7260, 7262, 7264, 7286, 7288, 7290, and 7292 will all have larger than standard staterooms.
  • Moving forward to aft, our recommended cabins on Deck 7 of the Celebrity Solstice are 7121, 7123, 7135- 7141, 7145, 7259, and 7261 port side, and 7110- 7142, 7190, 7192, 7306, and 7310 starboard.
  • Aft, Sky Suites 7307 and 7356 have the best views and certainly the largest verandas on Deck 7 of the Celebrity Solstice.
  • Between the Sky Suites aft on Deck 7, Sunset Veranda Staterooms 7309-7358 also boast great (and less breezy) aft views of the ocean from verandas that are larger than standard..

Deck 8 -- Vista Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Favorite Deck ***
Highly rated by our cruise experts!

On the Celebrity Solstice, Vista Deck features accommodations most similar in location and quality to Deck 7. This deck will be a more quiet one for a stateroom or suite because cabins above and beneath create a buffer from public areas.

  • Forward, Family Veranda Staterooms 8107 and 8108 are very spacious on the Celebrity Solstice's Deck 8. There will most likely be a bit of a breeze from their verandas because of their location. As mentioned, family cabins are in in short-supply and are very popular given their attractive sleeping arrangements. They sell out very quickly, so, it is best to book early to get a Family cabin.
  • Port side veranda staterooms 8197, 8199, 8251, 8253, 8255, 8257, 8279, 8281, 8283, 8343, and 8285, and starboard staterooms 8160, 8162, 8224, 8226, 8228, 8230, 8252, 8254, 8256, 8334, and 8258 will have larger than standard verandas.
  • Highly recommended veranda staterooms on Deck 8 of the Celebrity Solstice are 8123, 8133- 8139, 8183, 8185, 8203- 8217, 8297- 8315, 8339, 8341, and 8343 port side, and 8112- 8140, 8144, 8146, 8168- 8190, 8270- 8302, 8326, 8330, and 8334 starboard.
  • Aft on Deck 8 of the Celebrity Solstice, Sky Suites 8345 and 8336 are spacious, feature over-sized verandas, and afford great views of the ocean.
  • Sunset Verandas 8347-8338 are situated between the Sky Suites and have a great aft views of the ocean from larger than standard verandas.

Deck 9 -- Panorama Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Favorite Deck ***
Highly rated by our cruise experts!

Panorama Deck of the Celebrity Solstice features Concierge Class accommodations which include priority check in, an expanded room service menu, evening hors d'oeuvres every day, as well as other amenities. Again, Deck 9 staterooms have cabins above and beneath which buffer noise from public areas.

  • Port side, veranda staterooms 9155, 9157, 9207, 9209, 9211, 9215, 9237, 9239, 9241, 9243, and 9295, and starboard, 9192, 9194, 9264, 9266, 9268, 9270, 9292, 9294, 9296, 9298, and 9366 have larger than standard verandas.
  • Interior Staterooms 9196, 9202, and 9206 are wheelchair accessible on the Celebrity Solstice Deck 9.
  • Highly recommended staterooms are 9109, 9121, 9127- 9133, 9139, 9141, 9161- 9173, 9197- 9203, 9255- 9271, 9293, and 9295 port side, and 9104- 9134, 9176, 9178, 9200- 9222, 9246- 9258, 9310- 9342, 9364, and 9366 starboard.
  • Recommended Interior Staterooms are 9172- 9148 and 9202- 9216.
  • Aft, Sky Suites 9299 and 9374 are the most spacious on the Celebrity Solstice Deck 9, have the largest verandas, and have a great view of the ocean.
  • Concierge Class Veranda Staterooms 9301-9376 are between the Sky Suites on Deck 9 of the Celebrity Solstice, and have great aft views of the ocean from larger than standard verandas!

Deck 10 -- Sky Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Favorite Deck ***
Highly rated by our cruise experts!

While Sky Deck is one deck beneath the ultimate luxury area on the Celebrity Solstice, this deck features Royal Suites, Celebrity Suites, Sky Suites, and Concierge class accommodations. The fact that there are cabins above and beneath you on Sky Deck makes this another great deck for a stateroom or suite.

  • Highly recommended staterooms on Deck 10 of the Celebrity Solstice are 1019- 1027, 1059, 1061, 1261- 1277, and 1401 port side, and 1006- 1022, 1026, 1028, 1138- 1170, and 1194 starboard.
  • Interior Stateroom 1084 shares a wall with a staff area. Noise could be an issue in this cabin as a consequence.
  • The four Royal Suites, 1239, 1241, 1116, and 1118 are the most spacious accommodations on Deck 10 of the Celebrity Solstice. Each has 590 sq. ft. of interior space and a 158 sq. ft. veranda.
  • Regarding cabin 1001, the view from the veranda is obstructed. Because the veranda is adjacent to the bridge, guests report that privacy on the veranda is compromised.
  • There are six Celebrity Suites on Sky Deck (1110, 1112, 1114, 1233, 1235, and 1237). Each Celebrity space has 395 sq. ft. interior space and a 104 sq. ft. veranda.
  • Aft on the Celebrity Solstice's Deck 10, Sky Suites 1403 and 1198 are spacious (300 sq. ft.), have large verandas, and afford great views of the ocean.
  • Eight Concierge Class Veranda Staterooms (1405-1200) located between the Sky Suites have wonderful (and less breezy) ocean views.

Deck 11 -- Penthouse Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Warning ***
Some cabins on this deck with potential problems.

The Penthouse Deck does feature Penthouse Suites among luxurious accommodations. However, it should be noted that several cabins on this deck are beneath the fitness center and the pools.

  • Veranda Staterooms 1547-1605 and 1552-1610 are below the pool area, so there could be some extraneous noise after hours, such as the scraping of deck chairs when staff are cleaning. If you are looking for AquaClass accommodations and amenities, you may want to look elsewhere.
  • Forward, AquaClass Veranda Staterooms 1501-1511 and 1502-1520 are under the fitness center. Noise while the fitness center is open could be an issue. Guests in 1518 have indicated that there was substantial noise issues from the treadmills.
  • Forward, AquaClass Veranda Staterooms 1522, 1524, 1526, and 1538 are a slightly more spacious with larger verandas, and are wheelchair accessible.
  • The Penthouse Suites (1611 and 1616) have the most room (1291 s. ft.) and largest verandas (385 sq. ft.) on the Celebrity Solstice. These suites do have cabins above and beneath that buffer noise from public areas, but both of these suites have public bathrooms overhead as well.
  • The Celebrity Solstice's Penthouse Deck also has four Royal Suites (1607, 1609, 1612, and 1614) just forward of the Penthouse Suites, each of which as 590 sq. ft. of interior space and a 158 sq. ft. veranda.
  • Just aft of the Penthouse Suites, there are six Celebrity Suites (1615, 1617, 1619, 1618, 1620, and 1622).
  • Veranda Staterooms (1621-1661 and 1624-1664) are situated in a more quiet area, away from possible pool noise from above.
  • Aft on Deck 11 of the Celebrity Solstice, four Sky Suites (1663, 1666, 1665, and 1667) have larger verandas than standard and wonderful ocean views!
  • Five Aquaclass Veranda Staterooms (1676-1668) are tucked between the Sky Suites, and will also have beautiful aft ocean views.

Deck 12 -- Resort Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Warning ***
Some cabins on this deck with potential problems.

Resort Deck staterooms and suites are also luxurious, although not as spacious as the Penthouse, Royal, and Celebrity Suites. However, there might be noise issues in these cabins here from the cafe and bar directly above.

  • Concierge Veranda Staterooms 2101 and 2102 are next to public bathrooms and this could be an additional noise issue. We suggest locating farther aft on Deck 12 of the Celebrity Solstice to avoid this potential concern.
  • On Deck 12 of the Celebrity Solstice, Concierge Veranda Staterooms and Sky Suites (2115-2149 and 2114-2144) are situated just below the cafe, so there could be noise in the morning before and after 7:30am as staff prepare for the breakfast crowd, and this might be disturbing to travelers who like to sleep in. Because the cafe serves meals and snacks through the day, there could be noise from the diners as well as from staff clean-up after closing.
  • Sky Suites 2130, 2132, 2134, and 2136 are wheelchair accessible.
  • Aft on Deck 12 of the Celebrity Solstice, Sky Suites 2151, 2153, 2155, 2150, 2148, and 2147 have beautiful aft views of the ocean. However, these suites are also underneath the bar. Noise until late at night could be a concern in these suites.
  • Two Concierge Veranda Staterooms, 2157 and 2152, are situated between the aft Sky Suites on the Celebrity Solstice's Deck 12. These staterooms have a great view of the ocean, but may share the same noise concerns from the bar directly above.
