Deck 1 -- Riviera Deck

Cabins on the Riviera Deck  of the Carnival Miracle may have some noise concerns because Promenade Deck is directly above. From the clubs and casinos to the aft main dining room, it will be possible to hear the stirrings of humanity up there having fun. While we are not suggesting this deck should be completely avoided, some of the worst cabins on the Carnival Miracle are on the Riviera Deck! If you are light sleeper, you may prefer a cabin elsewhere, or bring earplugs. You may also consider investing in a wave machine (a sound device available at a specialty retailer like Brookstone -- produces pleasant sounds that can wipe out the unpleasant sounds). 

• Ocean View Staterooms 1102- 1106 port side and  1101- 1105 starboard on Riviera Deck of the Carnival Miracle are nearby the stairs and elevators just aft of the forward lounge area. Noise could be a problem in any of these staterooms as a result.
• Starboard, 1101- 1105 are beneath public bathrooms. Noise -such as hearing water rushing through pipes, could be additional issues in these cabins.
• Port side on Deck 1 of the Carnival Miracle, Ocean View Staterooms 1112- 1152 are beneath bars. Noise until late into the evening could be of concern in these cabins.
• Interior Staterooms 1153 and 1157 are beneath public bathrooms. Noise -such as hearing water rush through pipes- could be a concern in these cabins.
• Ocean View Staterooms 1156- 1188 port side and 1159- 1209 starboard, and Interior Staterooms 1158- 1190 and 1161- 1207 are under the casino. Noise until very late at night could be a problem in any of these cabins.
• Port side, Ocean View Staterooms 1192- 1230 are beneath relatively quiet areas at night.
• Starboard, Ocean View Staterooms 1241- 1265 and Interior Staterooms 1247- 1263 are under a bar. Noise until late into the evening could be an issue in any of these cabins.
• Aft inside cabin 1263 and outside cabin 1265 are nearby the Carnival Miracle's galley on Deck 1. Because the galley is busy from early in the morning until late at night, this area is one of the noisiest locations for a cabin on this ship.
• Aft on Deck 1 of the Spirit, cabin 1240 is close to the dance club. Noise could be a problem in this stateroom.

Deck 4 -- Main Deck

Deck 4 on the Carnival Miracle is right above several major public areas on the ship, including a main dining room, a piano bar, and a lounge. Light sleepers may want to avoid accommodations above these venues. It is going to be possible to find a good cabin on this deck with a bit of planning.

• Port side, 4102- 4112 are above a relatively quiet area on the Carnival Miracle's Main Deck.
• Port side, Interior Staterooms with French Doors and Obstructed Views 4114- 4128 are above the piano bar and a staff service area. Noise could be an issue in these staterooms.
• Interior Staterooms with French Doors and Obstructed Views 4130- 4146 port side and 4131- 4147 starboard are over the Fun Shops. This is a relatively quiet area on Main Deck of the Carnival Miracle.
• Port side, 4202 is beside a staff supply closet. Noise could be a concern in this cabin when staff are busy.
• Starboard, Interior Staterooms with French Doors and Obstructed Views 4193- 4201 are above a busy bar. Noise until late at night could be of concern in these cabins.
• Interior Staterooms with French Doors and Obstructed Views are 4106- 4154 and 4188- 4202 port side, and cabins 4105- 4155 and 4189- 4207 starboard.
• 4203 and 4205 are right by elevators and are most likely going to be a bit noisy on Deck 4 of the Carnival Miracle.
• On the Carnival Miracle's Main Deck, Balcony Staterooms are 4156- 4186 and 4204- 4224 port side, and 4157- 4187 and 4209- 4231 starboard.
• The accommodations in the aft section of Deck 4 on the Carnival Miracle are over the second tier of the Bacchus main dining room. Noise might be a concern in these staterooms and suites when this venue is open, and when staff are cleaning.
• Aft on Deck 4 of the Spirit, Junior Suites 4226 and 4235 each have balconies that are very small.
• The Vista Suites on Main Deck of the Carnival Miracle are 4228 and 4237 on Deck 4 of the Spirit. Each has 245 sq. ft. with a huge (220 sq. ft.) balcony that will provide stunning aft ocean views.
• Aft View Extended Balcony Staterooms 4230- 4239 have larger than standard balconies for those superb ocean views!

Deck 5 -- Upper Deck

On the Carnival Miracle, Upper Deck cabins are advantageous because the decks just above and beneath only have cabins. Noises from public areas are consequently not much of a concern on this deck, so it's one of the better places to reserve accommodations!

• Forward on the Upper Deck of the Spirit, inside cabins 5102 and 5101 are next to Club O2. While this could be handy for parents traveling with teens, noise could be an issue.
• On Upper Deck of the Carnival Miracle, Balcony Staterooms 5108- 5132 port side and 5107- 5133 starboard are above the main lounge. Noise during performances and rehearsals could be a concern in any of these staterooms.
• You'll find Extended Balcony Staterooms from 5108- 5130 port side, and 5107- 5131 starboard on Deck 5 of the Carnival Miracle. Each has a 60 sq. ft. balcony that will provide great ocean views. Please note that the outer part of these balconies can be viewed from decks above.
• Balcony Staterooms with obstructed views are 5142- 5190 and 5224- 5238 port side, and 5143- 5191 and 5227- 5245 starboard on Upper Deck of the Carnival Miracle.
• Aft on the Carnival Miracle's Upper Deck, Balcony Staterooms are 5240- 5262 port side and 5247- 5289 starboard.
• On the Upper Deck of the Carnival Miracle, Balcony Staterooms 5241 and 5243 are larger than average, but are these next to elevators. It could be a bit noisy in these cabins when the lifts are busy.
• Aft on Deck 5 of the Carnival Miracle, 5264 and 5293 are Ocean Suites. Each provides 275 sq. ft. with an 85 sq. ft. balcony.
• The Vista Suites on the Spirit's Upper Deck are 5266 and 5295. Each has 245 sq. ft. with a 220 sq. ft. balcony!
• Aft View Extended Balcony Staterooms are 5268, 5270, 5299, and 5297. Each has 185 sq. ft. with a 40 sq. ft. balcony that will offer wonderful (and less breezy) ocean views.

Deck 6 -- Empress Deck

On the Carnival Miracle, the most luxurious suites available are on Empress Deck! This also means that some of the best cabin stewards are assigned to this deck! There is also at least one deck of buffer both above and below this deck, so noise tends not to be an issue from common areas in Deck 6 accommodations. Some of the best cabins on the Carnival Miracle are on Empress Deck!

• The best located accommodations on Empress Deck of the Carnival Miracle are, in our opinion, as follows. Port side through aft, we recommend 6112- 6120, 6154- 6162, 6170- 6178, 6226, 6228, and 6258- 6264. Starboard through aft, we suggest 6115- 6123, 6157- 6175, 6189- 6207, 6263, 6267, and 6289- 6333.
• There are six Grand Suites on Deck 6 of the Carnival Miracle. These are 6178- 6182 port side and 6207- 6217 starboard. Each has 300 sq. ft. with a 115 sq. ft. balcony. With respect to square footage and amenities, these are the most stately accommodations on the ship!
• There are 26 Ocean Suites on Empress Deck. These are 6154- 6176 and 6258 port side and 6157- 6203 and 6327 starboard. Each has 275 sq. ft. with an 85 sq. ft. balcony.
• Inside cabins 6159- 6211 share hall space with Grand Suites and Ocean Suites on the Carnival Miracle's Empress Deck.
• Interior stateroom 6201 receives great guest reviews. Except for a gentle rumbling noise from the engine, this cabin was rated as very quiet. Also, both room service and guest services were highly rated.
• The aft Vista Suites on Empress Deck of the Carnival Miracle are 6260 and 6329. Each has 245 sq. ft. with a 220 sq. ft. balcony for those lovely ocean views.

Deck 7 -- Verandah Deck

Like Decks 5 and 6, the accommodations on Deck 7 on the Carnival Miracle have the advantage of cabin decks above and beneath that buffer noises from public venues, so these cabins are among the better options for those of us who prefer staterooms and suites in fairly quiet areas. Verandah Deck accommodations are also in good proximity to all the fun on Lido Deck

• In our opinion, the best situated staterooms and suites with balconies on Verandah Deck of the Carnival Miracle are as follows. Port side, we suggest 7108- 7136, 7160- 7172, 7184- 7195, 7228, 7252- 7256, and 7268- 7302. Starboard, we recommend 7107- 7133, 7161- 7181, 7199- 7227, 7259, 7285- 7291, and 7311- 7351.
• Port side, Extended Balcony Staterooms 7258 and 7260 have larger than standard balconies in comparison to other similar staterooms.
• On the Verandah Deck of the Spirit, extended balcony cabins on Verandah Deck include 7246-7260 and 7258-7260 port side, and 7157-7237 and 7277-7303 starboard.
• 7299 and 7301 on Deck 7 of the Carnival Miracle are Premium Balcony Staterooms. Each provides 230 sq. ft. with an 85 sq. ft. balcony. Please note that these two staterooms are quite close to the elevators, so noise when the lifts are busy could be of concern in these cabins.
• 7298 and 7347 are Vista Suites. Each has 254 sq. ft. with a 220 sq. ft. balcony that will afford beautiful aft views!
• Aft View Extended Balcony Staterooms on Deck 7 of the Carnival Miracle are 7300, 7302, 7351, and 7349. Each has 185 sq. ft. with a 40 sq. ft. balcony with lovely aft views!

Deck 8 -- Panorama Deck

Most of the staterooms and suites on Panorama Deck of the Carnival Miracle are beneath Lido Deck. -So noise producing areas such as the fitness area, the pools, the bars, and the Lido buffet are all above these cabins! Many of the accommodations on this deck are not recommended deck for light sleepers!

• In the forward section of Deck 8 on the Carnival Miracle, Balcony Staterooms 8104- 8128 port side and 8101- 8127 starboard, and Interior Staterooms 8106- 8122, 8103, and 8107 are beneath the spa. 
• Port side, Balcony Staterooms 8132- 8136 are under public bathrooms. Noise -such as water rushing through pipes- could be of concern in these cabins.
• On Panorama Deck of the Carnival Miracle, Balcony Staterooms 8138- 8192 port side and 8131- 8191 starboard are beneath the main pools, bars, and casual dining including the buffet. Noise while these areas are open to the public, and when staff are cleaning, could be a concern in any of these staterooms.
• Balcony Staterooms 8194 and 8196 port side and 8193 and 8195 starboard are beneath public bathrooms. Noise -such as water rushing through pipes- could be a concern in any of these cabins.
• On Deck 8 of the Spirit, extended balcony cabins are 8138-8186 and 8220-8234 port side, and 8131-8185 and 8221-8239 starboard.
• Port side, Extended Balcony Staterooms 8232 and 8234 have larger than standard balconies for this cabin category.
• Cabins 8235 and 8237 are next to elevators and likely to have noise issues. 
• 8266 and 8271 are Ocean Suites. Each offers 275 sq. ft. with an 85 sq. ft. balcony.
• Cabin 8271 received positive guest reviews; a slight rolling was noted but there were no noise issues.
• Aft on Deck 8 of the Carnival Miracle, 8268 and 8273 are Vista Suites. Each will offer 245 sq. ft. with a 220 sq. ft. balcony.
• 8270, 8272, 8277, and 8275 are Aft View Extended Balcony Staterooms. Each will offer 185 sq. ft. with a 40 sq. ft. balcony.
• Please note that Balcony Staterooms 8194- 8272 port side and 8193- 8277 starboard, and Interior Staterooms 8240- 8260 and 8245- 8265 are beneath the buffet and the aft Serenity pool area. The buffet area stays busy all through the day, and there is a bar in the Serenity area, so noise could be an issue in these staterooms from early in the morning until late at night.
