Best Cabins on the Celebrity Xpedition: suites on Decks 5 and 6.
Cabins to be wary of on the Celebrity Xpedition: staterooms on Decks 3 and 4 are rather small.

Deck-by-Deck Breakdown of the Best and Worst Cabins on the Celebrity Xpedition

Deck 3 -- Marina Deck

The Marina Deck of the Celebrity Xpedition is the only deck with basic ocean view staterooms and Deluxe Ocean View Staterooms. While accommodations are certainly not spartan, we suggest that you be prepared for less square footage normally anticipated for outside cabins, or reserve a suite on Panorama Deck.

  • Forward on Deck 3 of the Xpedition, there are four Ocean View Staterooms (317, 315, 320, and 318). With 145 sq. footage of living space, these are going to be the most economical cabins to reserve, and if you plan on plenty of outside activities booking a small, basic stateroom may work well for you. However, if the weather takes a foul turn, you might want to consider more spacious accommodations.
  • The remaining 14 cabins on Deck 3 of the Xpedition are Deluxe Ocean View Staterooms which have 145 sq. ft. of interior space. Again, these are not spartan living conditions, but you will locate more spacious accommodations on Deck 5.
  • Marina Deck cabins on the Xpedition are going to be closet to the main dining room, Darwin's Restaurant, which is situated aft on Deck 4.

Deck 4 -- Vista Deck

Staterooms on Deck 4 of the Celebrity Xpedition are all  Premium Ocean View Staterooms, each of which will afford 160 sq. ft. of interior space. For the budget minded, it may be helpful to know that these cabins all have the same amenities and living space as the Deluxe Ocean View Staterooms.

  • Cabin 401 is oddly shaped and slightly larger than the other rather uniformly shaped staterooms on Deck 4 of the Xpedition.
  • There are 19 staterooms in total on Vista Deck of the Xpedition.
  • Aft of the cabins on Deck 4 of the Xpedition, guests in these cabins will find Discovery Lounge and Beagle Grill. This could be a great location for socializing with fellow explorers!

  • There are ten Xpedition Suites on Deck 5  (509, 507, 501, 508, 506, 504, 505, 503, 509, and 502). Each of these offer 230 sq. ft. with a 50 sq. ft. veranda.

Deck 6 -- Sunrise Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Favorite Deck ***
Highly rated by our cruise experts!

On the Celebrity Xpedition, this is the high rentĀ district. The best accommodations on the Celebrity Xpedition are on Deck 5.

  • 601 is the largest suite on the Celebrity Xpedition. This Penthouse Suite offers 460 sq. ft. with a 150 sq. ft. veranda. Other perks include a second veranda, butler and concierge services, afternoon canapes, fresh flowers, champagne (welcome), fresh fruit, priority tender boarding, priority debarkation, and more!
  • 604 is the Celebrity Xpedition's Royal Suite. This cabin provides 250 sq. ft. with a 195 sq. ft, veranda. Suite guests of 604 are also provided a list of amenities that includes a bottle of champagne, afternoon canapes, and butler and concierge services.
  • 602 is an Xpedition Suite. We do caution that this suite shares a wall with the fitness center. Noise when the fitness center is busy might be a concern.
