Celebrity Silhouette Best & Worst Staterooms: Summary

Best Cabins on the Celebrity Silhouette are on Decks 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Cabins to be wary of on the Celebrity Silhouette are on Decks 3, 6, 11, and 12.

Deck-by-Deck Breakdown of the Best and Worst Cabins on the Celebrity Silhouette

Deck 3 -- Plaza Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Warning ***
Many cabins on this deck with potential problems.

Several cabins on Deck 3 of the Celebrity Silhouette are under Deck 4 venues that include a night club and a casino. For the most part, we do not recommend many of these staterooms for those who desire quiet accommodations late at night.

  • Ocean View Staterooms 3101, 3103, 3102, and 3104 are larger than average and are wheelchair accessible. It should be noted that 3101 and 3103 are beneath public bathrooms aft and port side of the Celebrity Silhouette Theater. Noise, such as water in the pipes when these bathrooms are busy, could be problematic.
  • Port side, 3105- 3125 are beneath Quasar. Noise from this night club could be an issue late at night.
  • Starboard, 3108- 3128 are beneath the Celebrity Central. Because this venue offers late night entertainment, the staterooms are not recommended for light sleepers.
  • On the Celebrity Silhouette Deck 3, starboard exterior cabins 3130-3174 and interior cabins 3144-3172 are most directly under the casino, and after hours noise could be a concern. If you are light sleeper, we recommend a cabin on a higher deck.
  • Starboard exterior staterooms 3131-3159 are probably the only cabins on Plaza Deck of the Celebrity Silhouette that will not have extraneous noise factors.
  • Some of the worst cabins on the Celebrity Silhouette are on the Plaza Deck. While we are not suggesting the cabins on this deck should be completely avoided, there are staterooms on other decks that will be more quiet.

Deck 6 -- Continental Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Warning ***
Some cabins on this deck with potential problems.

Along this entire deck, you should be aware that the Entertainment Deck of the Celebrity Silhouette is right beneath all of the cabins. That said, it should also be noted that most of the venues, such as the boutiques, art gallery, and the restaurants, are not open into the wee hours, so it is possible to find a little peace and quiet in a stateroom on this deck.

  • Port side, 6105- 6147 and starboard cabins 6106- 6148 are over the Celebrity Silhouette Theater. Noise during rehearsals and performances could be an issue in any of these staterooms.
  • All 2C and 2D Veranda Staterooms on the Continental Deck have partially obstructed views. For both categories, the view looking down from the verandas will be obstructed. For 2C cabins, the horizon view from the verandas will be partially obstructed.
  • The davits or cranes for the lifeboats partially obstruct verandah views for 6145, 6153, 6146, and 6154.
  • Deluxe Veranda Staterooms 6135, 6137, 6139, and 6141 are a bit larger and are wheelchair accessible on Deck 6 of the Celebrity Silhouette.
  • Past guests in cabin 6187 indicate that the smell of cigarette smoke does waft up to the veranda and can be smelled in this stateroom if the doors to the veranda are left open. This smoke emanates from a smoking area on Deck 5.
  • Aft, the largest accommodations on the Celebrity Silhouette Continental Deck are Sky Suites 6307 and 6306. These suites have 300 sq. ft. of interior space and 79 sq. ft. verandas. Both suites also are wonderfully situated for magnificent views of the ocean!
  • We also recommend Sunset Veranda Staterooms 63096308 which are situated between the Sky Suites aft on the Celebrity Silhouette's Deck 6. These will also have a great (and less breezy) ocean views from larger than standard verandas. It should be noted, however, that issues with soot have concerned some of the past guests in these staterooms.

Deck 7 -- Sunrise Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Favorite Deck ***
Highly rated by our cruise experts!

In keeping with ocean liner tradition, higher deck numbers boast higher quality cabins. This begins to happen on Sunrise Deck of the Celebrity Silhouette. Deck 7 introduces Family Ocean View Staterooms, and has the Sky Suites and Sunset Veranda Staterooms as well. Also, cabins above and beneath this deck provide a buffer from the noises public areas can generate, thus making this one of the more quiet locations for staterooms.

  • Forward, Family Staterooms 7107 and 7108 boast up to 575 sq. ft. of interior space and have 53 sq. ft. verandas. However, given their forward location on Deck 7 of the Celebrity Silhouette, be prepared for a rather windy view (unless there's a tailwind). Family cabins are in in short-supply and are very popular given their attractive sleeping arrangements. They sell out very quickly, so, it is best to book early to get a Family cabin.
  • Ocean View Staterooms 7139, 7141, 7143, and 7145 are larger than usual and are wheelchair accessible.
  • Port side veranda staterooms 7159, 7161, 7211, 7215, 7217, 7219, 7241, 7243, 7245, and 7247, and starboard veranda staterooms 7206, 7208, 7258, 7260, 7262, 7264, 7286, 7288, 7290, and 7292 all have larger than standard staterooms.
  • Moving forward to aft, our recommended cabins on Deck 7 of the Celebrity Silhouette are 7121, 7123, 7135- 7141, 7145, 7259, and 7261 port side, and 7110- 7142, 7190, 7192, 7306, and 7310 starboard.
  • Aft, Sky Suites 7309 and 7358 have the best views and certainly the largest verandas on Deck 7 of the Celebrity Silhouette.
  • Between the Sky Suites aft on Deck 7, Sunset Veranda Staterooms 7311- 7360 have great (and less breezy) aft views of the ocean from verandas that are larger than standard..

Deck 8 -- Vista Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Favorite Deck ***
Highly rated by our cruise experts!

On the Celebrity Silhouette, Vista Deck features accommodations most similar in location and quality to Deck 7. This deck will be more quiet because cabins above and beneath create a buffer from public areas.

  • Forward, Family Veranda Staterooms 8107 and 8108 are very spacious. There will most likely be a bit of a breeze from their verandas because of their location. As mentioned, family cabins are in in short-supply and are very popular given their attractive sleeping arrangements. They sell out very quickly, so, it is best to book early to get a Family cabin.
  • Moving from forward to aft, the best situated staterooms with verandas on Deck 8 the Celebrity Silhouette are: (port side) 8123, 8125, 8133- 8139, 8183, 8185, 8203- 8217, 8297- 8315, 8341, and 8343; (starboard) 8112- 8140, 8144, 8146, 8168- 8190, 8270- 8302, 8330, and 8334.
  • Mid ship, the staterooms that will have larger than standard verandas are 8251- 8257 and 8279- 8285 port side and 8224- 8230 and 8252- 8258 starboard.
  • Aft on the Celebrity Silhouette's Deck 8, Exterior cabins 8343 and 8345and 8334 and 8338 are slightly larger than standard and have larger verandas.
  • Aft, Sky Suites 8347 and 8340 are spacious, and feature over-sized verandas that afford great views of the ocean on Deck 8 of the Celebrity Silhouette.
  • Sunset Verandas 8349-8342 are situated between the Sky Suites. The verandas of each will offer a great aft view of the ocean from larger than standard verandas..

Deck 9 -- Panorama Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Favorite Deck ***
Highly rated by our cruise experts!

Panorama Deck on the Celebrity Silhouette features Concierge Class accommodations that include priority check in, an expanded room service menu, evening hors d'oeuvres every day, and other amenities. Deck 9 staterooms have cabins above and beneath which buffer noise from public areas, so this deck is definitely a great one to consider for accommodations. The Interior Staterooms on this deck are going to be among the best to be found on the Celebrity Silhouette.

  • Moving from forward to aft, the following staterooms with verandas are recommended: (port side) 9109, 9121, 9127- 9133, 9139, 9141, 9161, 9171, 9197- 9203, 9255- 9269, 9297; (starboard) 9104- 9134, 9176, 9178, 9200- 9218, 9246- 9258, 9310- 9338, and 9370.
  • Mid ship, the staterooms with larger than standard verandas are 9207- 9215 and 9237- 9243 port side and 9264- 9270 and 9292- 9298 starboard.
  • Inside cabins 9196, 9202, and 9206 are wheelchair accessible on the Celebrity Silhouette Deck 9.
  • Aft, exterior cabins 9299 and 9374 do have slightly larger verandas than standard.
  • Aft, Sky Suites 9301 and 9376 are the most spacious on the Celebrity Silhouette Deck 9, have the largest verandas on this deck, and each will have a great views of the ocean.
  • Concierge Class Veranda Staterooms 9303-9378 are between the Sky Suites on Deck 9 of the Celebrity Silhouette, and each will have a great aft views of the ocean from larger than standard verandas!

Deck 10 -- Sky Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Favorite Deck ***
Highly rated by our cruise experts!

While Sky Deck is one deck beneath the ultimate luxury area on the Celebrity Silhouette, this deck features Royal Suites, Celebrity Suites, Sky Suites, and Concierge class accommodations. The fact that there are cabins above and beneath you on Sky Deck makes this among the more quiet locations for a stateroom or suite on the Celebrity Silhouette.

  • The four Royal Suites, 1239, 1241, 1116, and 1118 are the most spacious accommodations on Deck 10 of the Celebrity Silhouette. Each has 590 sq. ft. of interior space and a 158 sq. ft. veranda.
  • There are six Celebrity Suites on Sky Deck (1110, 1112, 1114, 1233, 1235, and 1237). Each Celebrity space has 395 sq. ft. interior space and a 104 sq. ft. veranda.
  • Interior Stateroom 1084 is next to a staff area, so noise could be an issue in this cabin.
  • Forward on the Celebrity Silhouette Deck 10, Concierge Veranda Staterooms 1022, 1024, 1026, and 1028 are a bit larger, have more spacious verandas, and are wheelchair accessible.
  • Moving from forward to aft on Deck 10 of the Celebrity Silhouette, we recommend these well situated staterooms: (port side) 1019- 1025, 1061, 1217- 1225, 1261- 1275, 1401; (starboard) 1006- 1022, 1028, 1086- 1102, 1028, 1086- 1102, 1138- 1166, 1194.
  • Mid ship, 1229- 1233 and 1243- 1249 port side and 1106- 1110 and 1120- 1126 starboard have larger than standard verandas.
  • Aft, Sky Suites 1405 and 1202 are spacious (300 sq. ft.), have large verandas, and afford great views of the ocean.
  • Eight Concierge Class Veranda Staterooms (1407-1204) located between the Sky Suites on the Celebrity Silhouette's Deck 10 have wonderful (and less breezy) ocean views from larger than standard verandas.

Deck 11 -- Penthouse Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Warning ***
Several cabins on this deck with potential problems.

While Penthouse Deck features the most luxurious suites on the Celebrity Silhouette, it's important to keep in mind the fact that Lido Deck is just above. Noise from the fitness center and the pool areas (forward and mid ship) above could be of concern in cabins located beneath. With some careful planning, however, it's possible to find good accommodations on Deck 11.

  • While the Penthouse Deck on the Celebrity Silhouette does feature the best accommodations to be had, luxury minded travelers need to be aware of the pool areas directly above some of cabins on this deck. AquaClass Veranda Staterooms 1547-1605 and 1552-1610 are in this general vicinity, and there could be some extraneous noise after hours, such as the scraping of deck chairs when staff are cleaning. If you are looking for AquaClass accommodations and amenities (which include priority seating at the Blu Restaurant), you may want to look elsewhere on this deck.
  • Forward, AquaClass Veranda Staterooms 1501-1545 and 1502-1550 are closest to the Relaxation Lounge and are directly under the Spa facilities. These staterooms are not under the pool areas, so they are in a better place to reserve an AquaClass stateroom.
  • The 5 interior cabins (1528-1536) are located more forward on the Celebrity Silhouette Deck 11, and are likely to be among the nicer places for an inside cabin on this ship.
  • Forward on Deck 11 of the Celebrity Silhouette, AquaClass Veranda Staterooms 1522, 1524, 1526, and 1538 are a slightly more spacious with larger verandas, and are wheelchair accessible.
  • The Penthouse Suites (1611 and 1616) have the most room (1291 s. ft.) and largest verandas (385 sq. ft.) on the Celebrity Silhouette's Deck 11.
  • The Penthouse Deck also has four Royal Suites (1607, 1609, 1612, and 1614) just forward of the Penthouse Suites, each of which as 590 sq. ft. of interior space and a 158 sq. ft. veranda.
  • Just aft of the Penthouse Suites, there are six Celebrity Suites (1615, 1617, 1619, 1618, 1620, and 1622).
  • On the Celebrity Silhouette's Deck 11, AquaClass Veranda Staterooms and Concierge Veranda Staterooms (1621-1663 and 1624-1666) are situated in a more quiet area, away from possible pool noise from above.
  • Aft on Deck 11 of the Celebrity Silhouette, four Sky Suites (1665, 1667, 1669, and 1668) have larger verandas than standard and wonderful ocean views!
  • Five Concierge Veranda Staterooms (1673-1670) are tucked between the Sky Suites, and will also have beautiful aft ocean views from larger than standard verandas.

Deck 12 -- Resort Deck

***CruiseAdvice.org Warning ***
Some cabins on this deck with potential problems.

Resort Deck staterooms and suites are also luxurious, although not as spacious as the Penthouse, Royal, and Celebrity Suites. However, there could be noise issues in Deck 12 cabins from the cafe and bar directly above.

  • On the Celebrity Silhouette's Deck 12, Concierge Veranda Staterooms 2101 and 2102 are next to public bathrooms and this could be an additional noise issue. We suggest locating farther aft to avoid this potential concern.
  • Port side, 2105- 2111 and starboard staterooms 2106- 2112 have larger than standard verandas.
  • Concierge Veranda Staterooms and Sky Suites (2115-2151 and 2114-2146) are situated just below the cafe, where there could be noise in the morning before and after 7:30am as staff prepare for the breakfast crowd. This might be disturbing to travelers who like to sleep in. Because the cafe serves meals and snacks through the day, there could be noise from the diners as well as from staff clean-up after closing.
  • Sky Suites 2130, 2132, 2134, and 2136 are wheelchair accessible on Deck 12 of the Celebrity Silhouette.
  • Aft on Deck 12 of the Celebrity Silhouette, Sky Suites 2153, 2155, 2157, 2152, 2150, and 2148 have great aft ocean views. However, these suites are underneath a bar. Noise could be a concern in these cabins as a result.
  • Two Concierge Veranda Staterooms, 2159 and 2154, are situated between the aft Sky Suites. These staterooms have great views of the ocean, but may share the same noise concerns from the bar directly above. Also, reports of soot issues have been noted on the verandas of these aft cabins.
