The Nouveau Supper Club:

By ascending the mid ship atrium elevator or glass staircase to Sun Deck (Deck 10), you'll find The Carnival Spirit's Nouveau Supper Club, which is considered the finest dining experience aboard the Carnival Spirit! Beneath a ruby glass dome, this two tiered art nouveau triumph is reminiscent of the ethereal Hotel Tassel in Brussels. Mauve, watercolor blue, and glints of candle glow blend about you, with the effect culminating in a vast sun mural. Cuisine selections include delectables from Miami famous Joe's Stone Crabs, as well as USDA prime aged porterhouse up to 24 oz., NY strip, filet mignon cuts, prime rib, rack of lamb, veal chops, chicken, seafood, and lobster. Champagne and caviar are available at current prices. The best of wines are at The Nouveau! This restaurant receives great reviews. The Nouveau Supper Club is located on the Sun Deck.  Reservations are required and there is a 45 AU per adult, and 12 AU per child diner charge.

Chef's Table:

Designed for those of us who truly delight in the culinary arts, Chef's Table offers you and 11 fellow gourmands a cocktail reception, a tour of the galley kitchen, and a multiple entrees that will make you feel as though you have entered epicurean heaven. Your meal will be prepared by one of the Carnival Master Chefs! This dining adventure costs 90 AU per person, and the experience lasts up to three hours! Locations for the meal do vary. Booking reservations well in advance is HIGHLY important for the Chef's Table!

Bonsai Sushi:

The Bonsai Sushi is a popular dining venues on the Carnival Spirit. This restaurant boasts a nice selection of sushi and sashimi. Appetizers, including braised short ribs with carmelized onions (Wagyu Kakuni), are priced a 5 AU. California rolls are 6 AU, and a Bento box composed of sushi, a makizushi roll, soup, and salad is 12 AU. Located starboard and mid ship on Deck 2, Bonsai Sushi is open for supper on a daily basis, and is open for lunch on sea days.

Seafood Corner:

Located by the La Playa Grille on Lido Deck (Deck 2), this is THE place to go if you love seafood! Local fish such as snapper, barramundi, flounder, oysters, lobster, and shrimp are typically on the menu, as well as favorites that include a seafood platter and fish & chips! This is a counter near the pools on Lido Deck, so casual attire is certainly acceptable. Prices are a la carte.

Tips for the Nouveau Supper Club and the Chef's Table:

  • sample menu for Nouveau Supper Club is available at our Carnival Cruise Menu guide.
  • Reservations are a must! We strongly suggest that you book your reservations when you complete your online check-in process before leaving for your cruise whenever possible. This is especially vital for the Chef's Table, due to the popularity of this extravaganza as well as the limited seating.
  • Should you make reservations when you arrive on ship, it's suggested you do so promptly.
  • No children under five, please.
  • The Supper Club is a dinner only experience from 6:00pm to 9:30pm, and the Chef's Table lasts around 3 hours.
  • Gentlemen are required to wear jackets, and while formal dress is expected for dinner in the main dining rooms, you'll feel most comfortable at the supper club in elegant attire.
  • How much should I tip at The Nouveau Supper Club on Carnival Spirit? First, bear in mind that all alcoholic beverages that you pay for will have a gratuity added. The cover charge does include gratuity, however, you may wish to consider giving an extra gratuity to the waiter or waitress who has served you. An appropriate amount is to estimate the value of the meal you ordered if you ordered it on land and tip 15-20% based on that cost. If you feel that the value of the meal was $50 were you to order it in a land-based restaurant, you should tip $7.50-$10. It is certainly your discretion not to tip, but, the waiters serving you are some of the best on the ship and should be rewarded if they provided you with an exceptional dining experience.
  • Specialty drinks, beer, wine, and soft drinks can be purchased from the current bar menu.
