Carnival Dream Children's / Kid's Programs & Babysitting
Carnival has one of the premiere kids' programs in the industry! From interactive rhyming sing along times to special showings of movies including THE CAT IN THE HAT at the Seaside Theater, Carnival Cruises' Seuss at Sea will delight children of any age. Seuss Bookville story times, conga dances down the Promenade with the Cat in the Hat and other Seuss characters, and Seuss inspired art, crafts, and toys are all part of the fun for your child on your Carnival Cruise!
Onboard the Carnival Dream, youth groups are divided based on age.
Club O2, located on Deck 4 (Atlantic Deck) is the meeting place for ages 15-17.
Circle C on Deck 4 (Atlantic Deck) provides activities for the 12-14 crowd.
Camp Ocean Child Development Center takes excellent care of the youngsters with age appropriate divisions. Located at Deck 11 (Panorama Deck), Toddlers ages 2-5, Juniors ages 6-8 and Intermediates, ages 9-11 each boast their very own Camp Director and dedicated space.
Age-appropriate planned activities are provided throughout the cruise. During daytime hours, the kid's programs, including child care, are free. There are late night babysitting services (no babysitting in the cabins) that come with an extra charge. There are also slumber parties, and you can leave your kids in the program while the ship is in port so you can go ashore.
Carnival Dream Children's Programs Tips:
At Camp Ocean, the age groups have some wiggle room. If you have a 6 year old that behaves and would rather play with a 5 year old, it's not a big deal. This varies with the amount of kids on each cruise, but the Carnival Dream's Camp Directors will accommodate you as much as possible.
Club O2 Fun Times and CircleC Fun Times are handed out by their respective Directors at the beginning of the cruise. This will help you stay informed about what are the kid's activities during the cruise.
Sign up for all groups is the first night of the cruise. Club O2 and CircleC groups can come and go as they please. It's a good idea to set up a meeting point or a buddy system after an activity is over. Camp Directors for these groups will escort as needed.
