Seattle Shore Excursion Guide

Cruise lines offer a number of shore excursions for sale when visiting Seattle. For your convenience, we have provided a sample listing below of the shore excursions typically sold by cruise lines that visit Seattle. You may wish to check out 3rd party shore excursions in Seattle to get a wider variety of options to choose from.

City Tours (including Pike Place Market & the space Needle)

These city tours include a visit to the Space Needle, Pioneer Square (referred to as “the birthplace of modern Seattle), and Pike Place Market. In addition to the panorama view from the Space Needle and seeing the famous “flying fish” at the market, you'll have plenty of great shopping opportunities.
 
Price: Adults expect to pay from $61 to $89.
 
Booking Advice: Some of these cruise line excursions are disembarkation tours. While some walking is involved, these 3.5 to 4 hour tours are rated as easy in terms of physical exertion. “Duck tours” via third party vendors, such as www.allseattletours.com, will take you to the same places in around 2 hours and are less expensive.

Underground Tours

These 2.5 to 4 hour tours are a fascinating way to explore Seattle's history as you visit the shops of yesteryear in three sections beneath modern Seattle. There will be opportunity to shop for mementos.
 
Price: Adults expect to pay around $39 to $64.
 
Booking Advice: Because of the walking involved, these tours are rated as moderate with regard to physical exertion.

Future of Flight and Boeing Factory

This 4.5 hour tour first takes you to the Future of Flight Aviation Center where you'll see aircrafts above in the Main Exhibition Gallery, posed as they are against the backdrop of the sky painted ceiling. This center also features touch screen computers upon which you can design your aircraft. From there, you then travel for your visit to the Boeing Factory, and learn about facets of the construction of aircraft as you see these in various stages of completion.
 
Price: Adults expect to pay around $70.

Wine Country Tours

You'll experience the beauty and taste the wine at two different vineyards in Washington Wine Country. On this 5 hour excursion, there will likely be opportunity to shop, including those venues at Pike Place Market.
 
Price: Adults expect to pay from $79 to $99.

Paddle Wheel Cruise

This 4.5 hour paddle Wheel tour includes a cabaret show, an informative narration about Seattle's history, and wonderful views of the city skyline.
