Key West Shore Excursion Guide

Cruise lines offer a number of shore excursions for sale when visiting Key West. For your convenience, we have provided a sample listing below of the shore excursions typically sold by cruise lines that visit Key West. You may wish to check out 3rd party shore excursions in Key West to get a wider variety of options to choose from.

Discover Key West

These 2.5 hour excursions begin with an hour long trolley or train tour of Key West. You then visit the fascinating Key West Aquarium and the Ship Wreck Historium. Your tour finishes at Mallory Square.
 
Price: Adults expect to pay from $62 to $66
 
Booking Advice: Because walking is involved as you tour, this excursion is rated as moderate on the activity level scale. If you just want to see Key West's old town, the trolley and conch train rides cost about half this price.

Hop On & Off Train/Trolley Tours

The advantage of this excursion, which lasts for about an hour, is the fact that you can get off the coach & go exploring those points of interest in Key West's old town of your choice. The 8 stops include the Butterfly Conservatory, Duval St., Hemingway's Home, and Fort Zachary Taylor.
 
Price: Adults expect to pay $21 to $35.
 
Booking Advice: This excursion is rated as easy. For a few dollars more, “foodies” may want to try the “Taste of Key West” 2 hour tour, where you can sample such local delights as conch fritters, salsas, sauces, and key lime pie. The Hop On & Off tours are less expensive through third party vendors.

Catamaran Sail & Snorkel Excursions

A nicely outfitted Fury Catamaran sails you away to the only living coral reef in North American waters for your snorkeling adventure on this 3 hour excursion. Complimentary refreshments, including wine, are served on your way back.

Booking Advice: This is rated as moderate on the activity scales. Third party vendors offer very competitive prices for snorkeling adventures.

Key West Pub Tours

These tours last from 2 to 2.5 hours, and take you to 4 of Key West's famous pubs. At each one, you have your choice of a mixed drink or a domestic beer, and you'll also receive a free T-shirt! Pub crawls typically tour Key West's old town!

Booking Advice: This excursion is rated from easy to moderate in terms of activity level. Key West's famous old town pubs, however, are easy enough to find.

Para-sailing

For about an hour, this excursion lifts you 400 feet in the air for a most memorable para-sailing aventure over the ocean!
 
Price: Adults expect to pay $84 to $90.
 
Booking Advice: This excursion is rated from easy to moderate as an activity. If you don't have your heart set on para-sailing, for less than $30 more, you'll find some excellent 6 hour watersports activity excursions offered through third party vendors.
