En route to the parks, you'll stop to see the Magnetic Termite Mounds. At Litchfield Park, you'll visit both Florence Falls and Wangi Falls before lunch. Afterward, you travel 2 hours to Crocodylus Park, which has functions as a research facility. You'll see crocodiles literally leaping up after food in the lagoon, and have opportunity to get your picture taken with a young croc.

Walking Tour of Darwin

On the “Walk and Talk” tour of Darwin, you'll learn about the Aboriginal History and Culture, WW II Bombings, the War Memorial Historic Buildings, European Explorers Monuments, Aviation Pioneers Memorial, the Overland Telegraph Line, Bicentennial Park, Cyclone Tracey, Lameroo Beach, and Harbour Views.

Jumping Crocodile Cruise

You'll first stop at the Wetlands Visitor Centre, where you'll be given information about Northern Territory life. Then, you cruise on the Adelaide River, camera at the ready, for those leaping crocodile views! These crocodiles are almost completely out of the water as they leap after food!

Litchfield Park Swimming

You'll first stop at Batchelor, an old mining camp, to view it and hear of its history. Then, there's a short tea stop planned. Afterward, you'll go to Florence Falls for a swim, then enjoy a barbecue lunch. At Wangi Falls, you may choose to swim again, or just stroll about. Planned is a stop where you can view the Magnetic Termite Mounds en route back to your ship.

Territory Wildlife Park

An hour from Darwin, situated by Berry Springs, is Territory Wildlife Park. This is an “On Your Own (but with transportation)” excursion, and you have roughly 4 miles of trails in this park/zoo. There are “people mover” carriages, by the way. Expect to see an array of wildlife, including Banteng Cattle, buffaloes, dingoes, birds, wallabies, kangaroos, and crocodiles. There are “Birds of Prey” shows, and an underwater tunnel walk at the aquarium.
