Ilhabela Restaurant Guide

When visiting Ilhabela Sao Sebastiao, the most recommended dishes of all are seafood. This area of Brazil is where you will find the best shrimp in this country! Fresh tuna is also in abundance!

Popular Restaurants in Ilhabela Sao Sebastiao:

Kanoa da Ilha, located at Rua Caraguatatuba, 65, Saco de Capela, gets great reviews for their seafood dishes, but you don't have to enjoy fish to dine here! This restaurant has a nice selection of other non-seafood entrees, and tends to get rave reviews from those who have dined here! The Fillet of Kanoa, a seasonal dish, comes highly recommended. You can contact them at 55 12 3896 5345.

Cheiro Verde is so good the locals gladly recommend it to visitors. Surprisingly close to the dock, it offers good food at good prices. If you have questions about what's what on the menu, simply ask your server who will bring you a generous sample for you to try. The dish of small shrimps in a creamy yellow sauce served with rice and beans gets rave reviews. So for a satisfying meal at a reasonable price, Cheiro Verde is the place. This restaurant is located at Rua Padroeira, 109 | Centro, Ilhabela, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. You can contact them at +55(0)12 38963245, or visit www.cheiroverdeilhabela.com.br.

Petiscario do Eustaquio is for the COMPLETELY adventuresome! We're talking travel to a bay north of Castelhanos beach, kitchens in open huts, and sitting in plastic chairs with a postcard perfect ocean view. The reason you might just want to dine here? These people raise their OWN seafood, so you're on the receiving end of some of the freshest mussels and shrimp to be found in an area where the very best shrimp in Brazil are harvested! Full meals at 30 Euros are not cheap, but there's always the experience! Be prepared to see some very elegant yachts in the area! They are located at Praia do Eustaquio.
