Fort Lauderdale Restaurant Guide

While in Fort Lauderdale, you'll likely notice the South Beach eateries are not cheap. Fort Lauderdale boasts a variety of international fare, and you can also find some great Cuban cooking. Batidas (milk shakes with tropical fruit) are popular, and you can find plantains in omelettes. While it's going to be possible to find a fish taco, that's not really a local dish. If you love seafood, the South has some wonderful "raw bars," and the ones in Fort Lauderdale are going to be worth your while!

Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale; 954-523-5001; www.mangosonlasolas.com/) Take the opportunity to relax and enjoy some down-time during your pre- or post-cruise shopping on trendy Las Olas Boulevard.
