Oasis of the Seas Pool and Sunbathing
The Oasis of the Seas features 4 separately designated pool areas. There is the "Solarium" pool, which is "adults only" pool; it has two cantilevered whirlpools, which extend twelve feet from either side of the ship. Each whirlpools holds sixteen people. The "Sports Pool" is an area for playing pool games such as pole jousting, synchronized swimming, and volleyball. The sports pools area may have designated times for swimming laps. The "Beach Pool" comes complete with sand for fun in the sun. All pools are salt water, and are located on Deck 15.
The "H2O Zone" is the interactive water park for kids and families filled with geysers, sculpted fountains, and waterfalls. The area boasts other contraptions such as spray cannons and umbrella jets. There are also two splash pools in this area. At night with the help of an intricate lighting system, this region is transformed into a sculpture garden. The "H20 Zone" is also located on Deck 15.
All pools are open 24 hours a day unless otherwise posted.
Oasis of the Seas Pool & Sunbathing Tips:
Babies & Infants in Pools: Royal Caribbean's official policy is "no swim diapers, children must be potty trained." The Oasis of the Seas Ocean Program stresses this point to all the families that bring their kids. We have not heard reports on whether the policy is strictly enforced.
Adult is defined for pool purposes as anybody 16 and over.
One of the main pools sections and one of the whirlpools have hydraulic lifts for the disabled.
