The Maasdam was built in 1993, and refurbished in 2011 when she was upgraded with Spa Staterooms, Mix (a bar/lounge) and enhancements to the Showroom at Sea. Her gross tonnage is 55,818, and she carries 1260 passengers. There are 148 inside cabins and 485 outside cabins. The Maasdam features 29 new Lanai Staterooms and Spa cabins.
