The Rotterdam Dining Room

This two tiered main dining room of the Ryndam is named the Rotterdam restaurant. Large glass windows frame the restaurant and provide for great vistas while enjoy your meal. The entrance to the Rotterdam is located on the Ryndam's Promenade Deck.

Breakfast is served in the main dining room from 7:00am to 10:00am, and, lunch is served from noon to 2:30pm. Breakfast and lunch are open-seating. For dinner, the early dinner time is 5:45pm and 6:15pm, and, the main dinner time is 7:45pm and 8:15pm.

Holland America Line does offer As You Wish Dining where you can show-up at any during the dinner hours and be seated as a table comes available. However, it is advised that you inform the Maître D' of your preferred dining time prior to 4 PM. You can choose As You Wish Dining when you book your cruise. Once on the ship, any guest is welcome to ask the Maître D' for a preferred dining time and they will do their best to accomodate your request.

Cuisine in the Ryndam's Main Dining Room

The Ryndam's main dining room menu includes vegetarian selections, four appetizers, and at least five main entrees. The main entrees include pastas, salads, beef, chicken, and occasional lamb or lobster. Desserts, by most accounts, are very tempting -- the dessert menu varies daily. Chef-recommended fare and New Holland's Greenhouse Spa Cuisine are highlighted on the menu.

As You Wish Dining onboard Holland America Ryndam Cruise:

Throughout your Holland America Ryndam cruise, you'll be able to savor cuisine as you wish on your time! From 5:15pm to 9:00pm, the main dining room provides first come, first serve seating on the first floor of the Rotterdam. There may be a wait time before seating.
