Casual attire is appropriate, including, shorts, sundresses, tank tops, etc. for the ladies; for men, shorts, polo shirts, T-shirts, etc. will work during the day. Rubber-soled, low heeled, or flat shoes are recommended while onboard. If you are travelling to colder climates or during colder months of the year, consider layering your clothes. The use of any footwear with wheels, including but not limited, to Heelys' shoes, is prohibited onboard all Norwegian ships. For the Norwegian dining dress code in the evening, "Cruise Casual" carries over. There are optional Formal nights. The number varies with the length of the cruise.
