The Olympic Restaurant onboard the Celebrity Millennium

The Olympic Restaurant

Celebrity_dining3On Plaza Deck, from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, The Olympic Restaurant onboard Celebrity Millennium provides you all the amenities of classic five star dining. Panels from the RMS Titanic's sister ship, the RMS Olympic, are masterfully part of a décor which transports you to early 20th century luxury.

Menu for the Olympic Restaurant

Look forward to Classic Lobster Bisque, Smoked Salmon with Tuna Carpaccio, Escalope of Foie Gras Normandy, and Twice Baked Goat Cheese Souffle among choices of appetizers on this varying menu. Magret of Duck, Veal, Grilled Fillet of Sea Bass, Rack of Lamb in Puff Pastry, and Large Shrimp Sauteed in Premium Vodka represent main entrees. The Filet Mignon is exquisite. Desserts include Zabaglione flavored with Marsala, Chocolate Souffle, and Petit Fours. Reservations are required and there is a 35USD per diner charge at the Olympic Restaurant.

Tips for The Olympic Restaurant onboard Celebrity Millennium:

  • The Olympic has limited seating and you should make your reservations ahead of time, preferably just after booking on line and well before you board ship.
  • Call 800-722-5941 or contact Celebrity online at SpecialtyRestaurant@celebrity.com to make reservations up to 4 days before your sail date.
  • Specialty restaurants provide more intimate seating than the main dining room, and only reserve for parties of up to six guests.
  • Children 12 years or older are welcome.
  • The 35 USD per diner charge does include gratuity.
  • How much should I tip at The Olympic Restaurant on Celebrity Millennium? First, bear in mind that all alcoholic beverages that you pay for will have a gratuity added. The cover charge does include gratuity, however, you may wish to consider giving an extra gratuity to the waiter or waitress who has served you. An appropriate amount is to estimate the value of the meal you ordered if you ordered it on land and tip 15-20% based on that cost. If you feel that the value of the meal was $50 were you to order it in a land-based restaurant, you should tip $7.50-$10. It is certainly your discretion not to tip, but, the waiters serving you are some of the best on the ship and should be rewarded if they provided you with an exceptional dining experience.
  • You'll be most comfortable in formal attire at the Olympic.
